I researched their research documents and I found the one into RUA was sound and made perfect sense.

You could argue if they were a lawyer the should not have both SBTX and OPTI as clients because the interests of one is not the same as the other......

But I'm guessing they are relatively inexpensive compared to larger companies and I guess SBTX and OPTI probably get on well.. So not really an issue.

Well if people are voting who they would prefer: I vote for Cavendish. They seem OK to me. But of course I dont know what the various charges/prices are of the various options. But assuming they are all the same-ish, I would go for Cavendish.

Assuming posters are often wrong, I investigated Cavendish. They seem OK to me.

I noticed they tipped a pharma - RUA - to reach 50p (currently about 12p) so I bought some RUA.

My autoBio is a widely available (see profile on ADVFN). If you look at Stockchallenge for April, Lemming1 came 11th, I finished a poor 23rd. If you drill down to the figures (see link below) the explanation for my poor 23rd was because my two worst performing shares were "tips" - sbtx, and trd. The shares I picked myself did OK. You might think that is unusual but its very common (just try yourself it is relatively easy ). Having said that I do believe sbtx and trd will do extremely well this year but getting the month right is quite hard (you might think MNG on my list did not do well either but in fact it gave me a 10% dividend just before the comp start).

As a retired person interested in finance, I enjoy the chit chat and banter on finance sites but not enough to pay for it. 😀

As a web developer - over the years I've developed some quite good screen scrapping software that gives me some pretty good spreadsheets - sometimes it goes wrong (it had the dividend yield of VOD wrong recently) but normally its fine. The reason I work by myself is because journalists tend NOT to have noticed what I have noticed - its all about being FIRST....When I was younger I followed tipsters and it normally ended in tears...
