All those attributes and still the market ignores POW, whatever happened to the efficient markets hypothesis?

Will Sean be promoting POW at the Mines & Money conference in Miami tomorrow and Friday? Oliver Friesen, CEO of GMET will be there apparently.

Weren't the results this time last year deeply disappointing, resulting in a sell-off? Are we expecting better this year or should we be selling-off now to avoid the rush?

Look on the bright side, it's a great day to be short Ceres. Sadly, I'm not!!

Today our pre 20:1 consolidation price is 0.675 on 25/03/'24 (just prior) it was 0.7. I remember the decision to consolidate was 'so the market would take us more seriously'...That worked didn't it!! A question for Sean: when is our consolidated share price going to start working, giving the market confidence that POW is a player?

I think we fully understand our business model, what we fail to understand is POWs massive discount to its NAV. POWs bod has created an innovative business model, the merchant banking model, as Sean put it, that creates a cushion for investors, so, unlike most junior miners, they are not always going cap-in-hand to shareholders and other outside investors for exploration funding, so diluting the SP. To improve our share value our board don't just have to educate existing shareholders, they need to promote our company's approach to potential investors including the mining funds to get them to buy in. I believe POW has a fantastic future but currently the only way the SP will rise is when a big discovery is announced on the RNS.

You are right Scottydogg, our value in assets is up and our SP is down, that's a result of poor corporate comms. Someone has to go out and whip-up enthusiasm for the POW business model: mining exploration with greatly reduced shareholder risk. We're not asking for a meteoric SP rise, just a fair valuation.

Mining exploration is a boring (no pun intended), meticulous, longwinded business. A marathon, not a sprint. 99% boredom 1% excitement. If we can't live with that we should be investing elsewhere. The unusual and successful POW business model needs explaining and selling with more passion and vigour to potential investors, that's my only criticism of current management. Our SP shouldn't be this low with our current assets and exploration programs. We're needing more marketing pizzazz to capture the markets attention.

Junior mining investments are normally quite risky, albeit with potential high rewards. After this sale and their residual holding of 19.2% of GMET shares, this makes our investment in POW copper bottomed with considerably more upside than down. Still the market seems to avoid buying-in, I don't understand this at all. There's being risk averse and there's just being plain dumb!

RNS of this magnitude should move the SP by more than a measly 1.75%, the UK market just doesn't like POW for some reason, 53 trades at this time seems quite thin for this sort of news. It will be interesting to see what happens this afternoon once the US market opens, hopefully it will move by 4 or 5% +.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong, but I see POW's business model is not to be a short term investor in mining companies that he has sold mining rights to, and where POW has retained a substantial stake. The model is to keep offering POW's successful discoveries for sale, either to other mining companies or through IPOs and build a portfolio of substantial holdings in these miners. POW can then continue the slow and costly job of making discoveries whilst, at the same time, building a massive asset base of successful mining company stocks. Selling out to boost our SP would be just a very short term benefit, a flash in the pan. The SP would very soon sink again after the share sale. If POW was an investment trust it would currently be at a massive discount to it's net asset value. I would blame our CEO for that, in so much that he's failed to explain the benefits of POW's business model clearly enough to potential investors. It's innovative and very exciting. Unless I have missed something important. If we are to be shareholders in this company, we should understand the vision behind it and how it works.

Sol001, you are right. Why are British industrial and political leaders so downbeat? These guys are selling their company and country and they haven't got a clue. Let's have sales guys as our CEOs and keep these mining engineers, accountants and lawyers in the cellar, they couldn't sell a f*rt to an ars*hole!

Exciting opportunities, boringly and unenthusiastically presented by a man with lots of crooked pictures in the background. No wonder our share price is down again! If mining experts aren't fluent, enthusiastic TV presenters why do they get promoted to CEO, that applies to Sean Wade too! We need more people like Rick Rule doing this presentation stuff.

These brokers targets are complete bullsh*t, I've never seen one realised on AIM yet. It pushes the SP up for 24 hours or so and then it crashes back to earth again. Ceres is a winning company whatever the brokers say.

Is POW worth more than the sum of its parts? That would normally be a strong buying signal, but we're on AIM here. Sensible shareholders stay away from AIM. Junior miners are always considered very risky investments anyway and trading in our share is usually extremely thin, so price movements are over exaggerated. If and when POW make a decent discovery our investment will become worthwhile. Until then we have to look on the bright side, POW is very unlikely to go bust or come to investors cap in hand for an injection of new funding, not something that can be said for every firm listed on AIM!

POW's business model isn't to sell their investments it is to build more of them. As for discoveries, this is a junior mining company and discoveries don't grow on trees, that's why they are so valuable when they do come. If it was easy everybody would be doing it! Individual mining shares are a matter of faith and patience. If you believe our BOD has a good plan and an excellent business model, this share is worth sticking with. If not then sell up and more your investment to something more buoyant, like Nvidia or Bitcoin or perhaps one of Donald's exciting memecoins, that's where the action is!

Unplugged01, I'm no newbie, I've invested in Ceres for years, they have great tech to help solve a global crisis. America's "drill baby drill" policy is a massive opportunity for us, fossil fuels can only offer more disasters and I think that most thoughtful Americans believe that too, no matter what they voted. Clearly you want a quick profit, so why are you investing here, surely Bitcoin is you natural home.

If we are to control our own future as a nation, we have to hang on to our jewels. Sir Kier Starmer talks about our being a world leader in AI; get real! Lets be a world leader in what we are already a world leader in. Using AI in those areas will make us stronger. The Donald's return to the White House should be a wake-up call, thanks to Brexit we are on our own as a nation and we need to make the most of that opportunity, not be tempted to sell-out at the first chance to the highest bidder.
