So at this rate it'll take nearly 8 months for POW to buy back the target number of shares. Also, am I right in saying that in the (unlikely) event of any positive news of say a discovery, that would make create a surge in share demand from both new and existing holders, the buy back could take a good deal longer than that?

I'm flummoxed here. There is a large buyback that's been started and people are choosing to sell. POW share trading makes no sense what-so-ever. Our company already trades at a massive discount to NAV, we've got cash in the bank, lots of great mining prospects and a are founding member / shareholder of Minestarters and still we struggle to get above £0.15 per share...WTF! Can anyone explain this to me please. Perhaps someone who is a current seller please explain your logic. Thank you.

I understood that blatant market manipulation of this sort was illegal. Perhaps they named their business Grizzly because they're bear faced SP manipulators. The combination of shorting a stock and publishing disinformation is a powerful scam that needs to be abolished!

Our Labour Government says the UK is a world leader in net zero, if our government hangs around waiting to see what others are doing that's not really leading. We have innovative companies in the net zero space, like our very own Ceres Power (Yes, pollution & CO2 free) and our government (both Tory and Labour) fails to embrace them. Then Starmer and Reeves go around wringing their hands and complaining about lack of economic growth, whilst dear old Ed Miliband spends his time promoting Chinese tech like solar! I remember an old slogan from the 70s "I'm backing Britain" perhaps that slogan could be dusted off now.

Watching Ceres SP is like watching a rollercoaster +6% one day -4% the next, with no RNS or other news to base it on.

Ceres Power should be a rock solid investment, if we don't tackle climate change we'll all die (yes that includes the billionaires or even trillionaires Mr Musk, unless you can make it to Mars in time). Ceres' solutions are a brilliant way of creating pollution and CO2 free energy and it's a British Company, for the moment anyway. Does Ed Miliband even know about Ceres Power? He appears to spend most of his time promoting clean Chinese Tech!

POW's investments in Minestarters and Apex Royalties with either propel us into the financial stratosphere or will crash and burn, so putting more hard earned cash into POW is just a straight forward gamble. I'm an investor not a gambler. The POW "project incubation" business model was investable (albeit a very poor investment); share purchases in POW now seem more like buying a lottery ticket or perhaps Bitcoin!

The market doesn't appear to think this US government intervention stabilising the Peso is positive news for Burford's YPF judgment. Or perhaps something else is going on that's less in the spotlight?

I thought we'd seen the last of a 14p SP. It is often said here that a company's directors cannot control the share price, but at these low levels it appears to be a vote of no confidence in our management team. They are unable to sell their vision of the Company's future to the market or indeed even the success POW has had thus far with their innovative business model. We need something to capture the market's attention, the Interim Results we a damp squib.

Republicans don't like litigation funders which empower the little guy over the big one in legal cases. They even tried to impose taxes on them in the Big Beautiful Bill.

Buenos Aires Times 16/07/2025: "Trump backs Argentina in legal bid to suspend YPF share handover. US government to file amicus brief supporting halt against Preska ruling during appeal process; Trump administration shows support for Milei government." The Trump lead US Government will care little for Investors in the now defunct Peterson Energia and Eton Park and will have no regard at all for Burford Capital, as the funder of the YPF case.

It's now more to do with MAGA and Milei, populist forces with little regard for the rule of law. Trump's team will side with Milei and Preska's judgement will be overruled in the Supreme Court, the big pay-out is unlikely now. I think the market senses that, hence the SP dropping day-by-day. I'm a long term holder of Burford so I'd be pleased to hear from someone with a more positive take!

OMG, will nothing get this share airborne! I thought we'd seen the last of these abysmally low valuations. POW is the penguin of my portfolio - spends most of its time underwater and has a complete inability to fly!

It would be typical for POW to mistime their Minestarters move, so all their patient investors can send a few more years underwater, while GMET continues on a lengthy bull run. As I said before, it's all very well having cash in the bank just-so-long as you invest it wisely, clearly the market is not impressed by this Minestarters move.

Perhaps Sean will put some of the GMET profits into bitcoin, that needs mining too!! That seems to be all the rage in corporate USA.

The trouble with having cash in the bank is it needs to be invested wisely. I've just sunk my spare cash into more POW shares at 16.5 - 17p...what a clot! I should have known we'd be back to 15p and waited.

This is also true of POW itself; while the cash was in GMET it was only going to grow. Now it's in the bank who knows what will become of it, and that makes potential investors cautious.

At least the Arabian exploration won't be stopped by poor weather. No doubt there's not long to go in Saskatchewan before the snows come once again and exploration will have to stop for 5 months!

If it's so fantastic a deal why is our SP is down again?

POW is a fantastic company hiding in plain sight. We have got to stop hiding our light under a bushel, that'll take someone that can promote both our success and our business model.

POW's made no headway today. Going nowhere.

FDR up 10.6% & POW down 1.6%...why?

Doc, I'm certainly not saying he's not a decent guy. He comes over as solid and trustworthy, more like a CFO than a CEO. We just need more pizzazz as a figurehead; we need someone to wow with his/her presentation skills and present POW whenever the opportunity arises. This is something that I don't think SW does because that's way out of his comfort zone.
