This is a confusing me... Obviously there's nothing to read up on LSE about them. Their website states they were a medical company involved in mostly neurological based pharmaceuticals. They stated that it would be in the best interests of shareholders to change the company to an investment company complete with new name (ADI) focused on resources; gas, oil, etc. and also demerge their pharma into a seperate entity. Ok, that much I understand.
I noticed someone mentioned they have invested in Evergreen Oil, but I can't seem to find any info on their holdings, the best I could find is a mere mention of ADI as a "corporate advisor" on the ADI website??
Then of course, comes the weird equity placings:
19 Aug 2011 - [ADI] has issued 1,648 new ordinary shares of 0.01p each in the Company at an aggregate exercise price of £8.24
30 Aug 2011 - [ADI] has issued 16,730 new ordinary shares of 0.01p each in the Company at an aggregate exercise price of £83.65
23 Sep 2011 - [ADI ] has issued 567 new ordinary shares of 0.01p each in the Company at an aggregate exercise price of £2.84
23 Jan 2012 - [ADI] has issued 6,735 new ordinary shares of 0.01p each in the Company at an aggregate
exercise price of £33.68
By my math, every single one of these placements is at 0.5p a share.... Now, I don't really understand what the **** is going on here, but apparently this is worth 0.5p? On this confused and misguided research, I might throw in a few hundred quid just to see where this is going. After all, it seems someone is interested in gobbling up these shares, and sure enough, were heading towards 0.5p
