The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
£1bn would make me incredibly happy as a buyout price - allow most out in profit and release me from this groundhog day period.
Apologies - i didnt mean to infer the investment businesses arent good. Its just the reality of the business position we inhabit. We have to continually reduce our holding to pay for working capital expansion and investment for these buisnesses to hit their potential. Even with success the reward is diminished significantly, and on top of that we bear the cost of failure of a business. TBH at 8p i dont think its a bad investment but at 25-30p I really marvel at my lack of factoring in this element.
I believe there is good recovery however this year from this level so I am not for selling at this stage. In guident being bought I trust!
Well SP peeking up a bit - shows what i know about RNS able news....
...Im still horrendously underwater here though.
Tryingto see TEK as a learning opportunity - the cost of expansion (especially in a tight liquidity market of the last two years) just takes all the wind out of it. When interest rates drop maybe it recovers a bit, but my key learning is to look a little further past the sizzling and lovely smell and see if the sausage itself is viable and robust and not simply a sheath filled with mashed up c*ck and b*lls!
Not sure it was really RNS able news - but clearly a strategy to keep "progress" visible.

I think there is a good chance this bull run of 3-5 $100m+ holdings - DOT and TIA being two of them. So £1 is only the warm up distance - I suspect we will still be increasing our stride as we pass the £5 mark.
Have already dropped the amount I wish to post. I am pretty convinced that BT and the like are employed by LSE in some form to prompt arguments and increase participation in the board and I am a little tired of it. Think of a board you are on and as soon as there is any critical mass of readers up pops a rude disruptor - i think the rudeness is proven to increase engagement and hence my assumption it is driven by LSE and ergo increase time on site and increase revenue. As such i am trying to reduce my use. Its further backed by behaviour not having consequences, BT often directly insults and this morning clumsily referenced voilent acts - yet I bet he will be responding to me / or others very soon - not banned as he is keeping the lights on for LSE.
Thinking ther amy be a business in this board malarky iunless you can identify a "good board"
Is there any other board better that anyone would advise?

Definitely agree with all the comments on obfuscation and potential inappropriate behaviour by the BOD. I have pretty much given up but would like to see a little justice for any wrongdoing.
What strikes me as odd with you Trans, is you advise people spend no more time here and move on - but then you stay and keep reiterating this? Very very odd behaviour and leads me to think there may be dirt to expose if people dig (ie I dont believe you could possibly be a neutral and not take your own advise).
Im happy to support any investigation - I am keen to see some consequence for shady practises.

I am guessing the clain size and notice is ready to go but there is a small window for India to settle first - if not even any engagement from India then I am hoping the notice goes in this month. No new info coming to light and so we are ready to go.
Personally i dont disagree with you Albus and in fact I do use BTC but I do this myself - not via KR1. Soon there will be other vehicles to get BTC exposure but there are already miners and MSTR (US Co.). In the meantime I am more than happy to be allowed to invest in KR1 and dont to date question the two.
They may end up with 5 or more $100m stakes at the peak of this bull run!.
I think that there may come a time when they consider a divi or share buyback (my preference would be for them to do this in the bear market) but I would never suggest to the 2 of them in the same manner as I would not have offered tips or thoughts to Buffett & Munger - I dont think its too far from the truth to say that given another 10 years, these 2 will be mentioned in the same kind of revered manner.
It is Franco, but it takes that most precious of resources - time. I was hoping a kind soul with more of the latter than I at present may share a view they have collated.
Of recent they seem to be giving funding to other seed investor groups - I assume this is recognition that the boys limit their activity to what they know and do not overstretch.
Of interest to me if anyone has the info to hand would be the expected timelines of any other of their projects going live. If there is another TIA or even mini TIA's in the pipe it would be good to know when they will arrive (even estimates).

Happy New Year!
PEN having another 40% surge this morning. I am hoping this denotes new blood and new entrants and isnt existing holders BluB, Duke? who already hold.
If they can roll out their programs early this quarter there is a very receptive crpto narrative on usingblock to actually transact financial as part of this upcoming bull run that we could tap into - skies the limit potentially.
Good luck to all investors.

Totally agree Panamabob, but we are not just furious, we are also passengers at present, absolutely dead - kippered to perfection.
Very upsetting and i am definitely furious but not seeing a ladder to climb out of the hole I find myself in.
By BOD witholding information flows, its spooking traders - too much unknown within the grip of the BOD and the BH - easier trades elsewhere I think - terrible manipulation by the BOD
They know the reason for the JV negotiation closing,
They know the confidential well info
They know more about our likely production than they are telling the market.
FFS this is quite literally bordering on the criminal!
So much information could be shared and just isnt.
Who was JV with? Who broke it off?
Tell us about the confidential wells. Tell us production news.
FFS - the fact they gave that RNS without any steer to the fact is very very poor.
My view as ever production - if we are a going concern, takeovers will be made - if not a going concern - fire sale.
I will freely admit that I would snatch at a 50p offer right now and would also probably take 20p tbh - just to jettison this BOD from my investments.
COWAN - SPEAK!!

You seem a little obsessed. If you are a shareholder - you can raise a motion to cut his salary. If you arent even a shareholder (and from your prior posts its doubtful) then who the heck are you to comment on what i and the other shareholders here choose to pay our directors!
Merry Christmas

Frasier and Miles Crane step into the BB.....
I've read the doc a few times today. I had eventually called for Leon to be put out a few months ago and today gets to the heart of why. He is bullishly pushing the development but in my opinion (and he will look back to a legacy maybe of building a great operational vehicle) but he is not a great CEO - he isnt taking other stakeholders with him.
A great CEO would be aware that at an investor meet, he may need to raise and wouldnt offhand a month before a substantial raise that there will be no raises - a great CEO lays the path "if the opportunity arrives etc". Leon is 1 dimensional - growth of operations.
His FD must have known the reality and the fact he isnt heeding this again proves a stubborness trait or worse an arrogance that is great in a COO or CTO, but it isnt where a CEO should be.
Personally, I was ready for raises for opportunities - i suspect a lot of us were, but then engage with us on that plane of thought process. We can therefore only marvel at Leons shortsidedness of thought, or his complete disregard for his investors.
I still think this is an interesting project but wish I had backed more at 5.5p. We could get to where we need to go much easier with the correct CEO.

Edzi - I agree your points on being linked to a giant. Another example of where this partnership works, is in securing waste - they must clearly have a strong government link and unlike JLP they have cash, plenty of cash to secure tailings.
Hi Ocker,
To be fair, there isnt much hype on this board and very few ramps. Plenty of FUD. I think most holders while discontent with current share price, are not frothing and ramping forecasts - we await the next growth news with a confident optimism.
