Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Well, this is the first time I've visited this thread since delist. I wasn't there and before I get hounded out, I hold millions of CTAG shares so I'm gagging for a good news story as much as the next person. From the outside looking in, unfortunately it looks as though Tim's meeting has done significant harm to even the minimal interaction between PIs and CTAG for the future. Let's not forget there was a meeting last year too, that didn't go well either. I've heard that Tim's draft got leaked and that is the why JB / ABH now won't approve any wording to be released. If it is true that it was somehow leaked, then more fool them. I don't blame JB / ABH from refusing to cooperate with the release of an approved version. It's just like a board meeting, the minutes are taken and circulated for approval, then they are released as needed so that everyone is on precisely the same page. Just as here, except it appears Tim's camp made a significant error of judgement here. I think the leadership of that group has been played by a few disruptive and vocal individuals but all this talk of legal action or whatever is nonsense. What's clear to me is this. No Amit = no CTAG. The recent interview was the best indication we've had for ages about whether our switch to a B2B strategy has potential, and I'd say it does. While I hate the situation we are in, I'm absolutely convinced that we as shareholders need to allow him and whoever he is working with to try and get this over the line for us all. A man of Amit's experience and wealth simply would not persevere with this a moment longer than necessary unless he sees a major upside. He is nothing if not a ruthless businessman. So all this talk of Alon / EGMs / anything else is foolhardy to say the least. Like I say, no Amit, no CTAG and I for one will leave him alone to try and sort it. Do I have faith? Not blindly no, but do I think Alon, Yuval or anyone else could give us a better result? 100% no. Now to the matter of 'selected PIs' getting an audience with ABH, who cares? I've asked numerous times for meetings with him and been knocked back despite having met and spoken with Tony Reeves. But if others have managed it, purporting to represent other PIs or not, then fair game to them. But I counsel you all that to allow the SAG and or Tim and his associates to speak for you and your investment is a recipe for disaster. Let's leave well alone. If it goes to the wall fine, let's each chuck 1K in and go for a class action law suit, but right now I'm utterly unshakeable from the view that Amit and whoever he's working with need to be left alone to deliver, and that any Twitter / Facebook / social media negativity such as the Karl Howarth tweets today serve only to risk our investments further. Phew, I'm off for a beer!
Just got under 4p dummy buy for first time.
0.43 easy, no shortage yet
Is there any truth to that? Tell me I'm the only one invested here who is very suspicious of Spreadex dumping a ton of shares immediately before we suspend to announce a deal??
Allan, I could not see how we would find production nor could I risk being caught up either in a suspension or big placing or both. Profit is profit and I will be back in here for the longterm once the position is clear, hopefully with profits from today's purchases that could only have been made by freeing up my funds in here. GLA I want it to come good too.
I hold a lot here but I just added another few million, nicely averaged down ready for lift off. RNS tomorrow anyone??
Given the volume of buys this smells of news inbound to me, getting tasty IMO.
I held until the RNS then sold completely for a small profit. I will be back though as surely the black stuff is coming out of the ground but they don't get the financing until they are producing and there are costs to bear to get in to production so I expect a big circa 1-1.1p placing very soon. However once that overhang clears it will be a buy and hold through to production for me. I'm not deramping BTW and these are just my own thoughts as I like what I see here once funding is clearer. DYOR etc.
Any time before 8am would be nice. Have my holding that I'm happy with and would love to see this move north tomorrow.
Well I know I'm not alone in loading up big time here. If it isn't tomorrow it smells like it will be soon. Today's rise looks leaky to me. Strong finish. Gap up on open tomorrow even without news??
4 million traded in first half hour and 3rd on the board. That's without the RNS that we are all salivating for which is hours or days away. Think what's going to happen if they've landed the kind of deal they've publicly stated they are after! Could see near the same trading volumes as yesterday. Those of us who've been around will not be selling a single bean before news that's for sure!
Will be an interesting day given we haven't had the RNS we anticipate today. 0.5 before news though, that would be an interesting prospect...
must be leaping out of the bag. What an intraday turnaround. The volumes are insane and this screams news to me tomorrow but WTFDIK?!! Good luck all!
Another few days on the riser board would be good to get us noticed. Surely if it had been a sell we would have been marked down on pre open?
Looks like a gap up on open so that conforms to me that the 15m moster trade was a buy. Wish I had that kind of purchasing power but I can see us steadily doing 10% a day right now which I'm more than happy with pre-news.
I don't know who it was but they may well make a lot of money in a very short space of time. Massive cojones!
It's a chunky buy but I bet a few of us aren't holding that far off that amount. Surely a worked buy given size? Oozes confidence if so. What's that I see, an arrow straight line of ducks all in a row? If we get news tomorrow then someone was bang on the money!
And look at the volumes FFS! Nice!
Good to see you're invested here too Mr S. Light touch paper, retire to safe distance and enjoy the fireworks. I sense we are close and anyone selling ahead of news can only be a trader after their meagre 10%. Plenty more upside here IMHO and it's lovely to be here early with a sizeable holding before the herd arrives.
Nice to see us on the leader board. News incoming perhaps??? Certainly not too late for those on the sidelines waiting, don't be caught out chasing the inevitable rise once it starts! If we get out of hours news one day soon I can see an immediate gap up on open that will catch many out.
