That would put me off, sub 4p looks great value so low 4s would do me on open. If it opens high it might well get shaken pretty hard a couple of times in the morning, so may be a case of buying in batches.

Yep, may be hard, actually I wonder if this will gap up then get shaken hard in the first hour or two in Tuesday, hard to call. Mind you 10% here or there won't make much difference in the long run if this does re rate. Any obvious downsides / risks here do you think?

I've got a fair bit riding on this one so I'm sticking around for a fair while. Never great to see you could have bought in 10-15% lower if you'd waited but hindsight n' all that!

Well well well, unable to buy on the bell even for a small dummy buy. With the AGM only 3 weeks away maybe this has already hit rock bottom and will show some recovery after all in the coming days.

Nice post. I think I posted earlier on that this'll just go in the bottom drawer for me now and we'll see what comes of it after the auction and the appeal outcome. It's fundamentally a very promising little company. If I hadn't had my flutter here late yesterday afternoon, I would 100% be buying today as I absolutely never expected we'd see this level again, but those funds have gone into a couple of lovely little under the radar small m cappers that should break out and do very very nicely soon. Maybe then I'll average down here, but not yet. DYOR, GLA, etc!

I should add from my knowledge of working with Local Authorities that the Extra Care agenda in this country is enormous. As Authorities rely increasingly on the private sector to step up and deliver services that they can no longer afford to retain in house due to austerity, coupled with the rapidly increasing demand for these services with an ageing population that is living longer and is more independent, there is a huge market for companies like Ashley House...and 154 Local Authorities to do it with BTW as well. Could be a very smart long term play this one. DYOR of course.

I took a very small very late punt here before yesterday's close. I don't like what I see BUT today we have planning approval which we didn't have yesterday. The appeal decision on the other site is imminent and I assume (DYOR) that if we are successful in the DECC auction in the autumn, revenues will flow in due course. For now I'm going to bottom drawer this one and see what it looks like in 6-12 months - might end up looking rather good in the end.

as I felt confident of a quick overnight 20-30% gain on open having bought admittedly a small amount late yesterday. I'd been telling myself all week to leave well alone and even had a good old argument about it on here yesterday with Andre, but I should have trusted my instincts. Next time I will. Question now is whether to lose £300-400 bailing now or just wait til October, but I can see the price seriously drifting south over the next two months.
