DHAKA, June 25, 2024 - (BSS)

Visiting Minister of the International Relations of the Communist Party of China (CPC)’s central committee Liu Jianchao today said China is keen to continue all possible cooperation for the development of Bangladesh in the coming days.

"China always attaches great importance to bolster the development ties with Bangladesh . . . It will always be beside Bangladesh’s development," he said during a courtesy call on Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin at the Bangabhaban here today.

Liu Jianchao praised Bangladesh’s development in various sectors, especially infrastructure development, information technology, communication, energy and tourism.

Welcoming the Chinese minister at Bangabhaban, President Shahabuddin said China is one of the most important development partners of Bangladesh.

All the right noises are being made it seems like it, discussions taking place and ground breaking news could even be issued at any moment

Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Liu Jianchao on Tuesday (25 June) said that China is willing to continue all possible cooperation for the development of Bangladesh.

During the meeting, the Chinese minister said that his country attaches great importance to the development of relations with Bangladesh.

He appreciated the development of Bangladesh in various sectors including infrastructure development, information technology, communication, energy and tourism.

Yao said Bangladesh and China should deepen their strategic partnership for cooperation and explore new growth points.

Waiting in anticipation of confirmation of psc and jv any day now.

PSC & Investment Partners

May 16th Upland confirmed that we are engaged with PETROS to finalise Upland's application for a Petroleum Sharing Contract (PSC). The Company awaits approval.

May 16th the Company also confirmed letters of interest from two potential partners. These are now at the stage of detailed terms of reference subject to contract.

Contract drawn up ready to be signed!!!

With each placing the company raises between £250,000-£300,000 and it tends to be every quarter.

The last placing was at 0.0125 in Feb 2024, previous to that was in November 2023 and before that it was in July 2023 for another £300,000!

I wonder if there is going to be another one due anytime now...
