Trump hits out at 'ridiculous' rumour about Iran deal.

Donald Trump is meeting with Qatar's emir on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France - you can watch the meeting at the top of the page.

Inevitably, he starts off the meeting with remarks about the Iran deal.

"We think it's a fair deal, it's a good deal," the US president tells reporters.

He also slams reports that the deal would require the US to invest money in Iran, which he calls "ridiculous".

"We are not investing any money, we have no obligation to invest any money in Iran," Trump says.

"We have the right to it if we want but we're not investing any money," he adds later.

Iranian media have reported that the framework to end the Iran war included a clause requiring the US to present reconstruction plans for the country worth $300bn.

Iran hits out at Trump's 'unusual insistence' of signing deal on Sunday

Iran has once again suggested it won't be signing a deal with the US tomorrow.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps wrote on Telegram that Donald Trump's "unusual insistence" on the deal being signed tomorrow is a "test for Iran's negotiating team".

It said Trump's announcement comes "despite Iranian negotiators explicitly stating that the memorandum has not yet been finalised and that signing on Sunday is definitely not happening".

The group also suggested Trump intended the signing to coincide with his birthday on 14 June, claiming he wants to turn it into a "personal publicity event".

If the process fails, Trump has warned "we have the ultimate alternative, hopefully never to be used again"
