Dont think theres been MM games. Monday saw world wide panic around the world causing selling even in tiny stocks like ORCA. Market is still jittery

MMs certainly dont want this rising at the moment. Its unusual to see the price not quoted in whole pence (28.5 offer) almost as if they had to raise it, but wanted it to be the minimum possible

I have to say I agree with your comment, in fact I was about to post how we are being totally played at the moment by MMs

From having had virtually no sells since 11:30 there comes along a suspicious little flurry of round number sales (still only totalling 24k mind), This is enough to get them dropping the price anothe penny, but then follows circa 60k of buys which move the price not one inch higher

Looking at the trades list this afternoon they all look correctly allocated but I guess I could be wrong. It does appear that they forced it lower by going 28-28 for a short moment. Anyone with level2 able to say if any particular MM is being aggressive to the downside?

All thats happening is that the MMs are constantly nudging this lower on negligible volume pending news.

They constantly narrow the spread by dropping the offer which would normally tempt some buyers, however in current markets its just an easy way for the share price to show red again and for a few more weak PIs to bail

Even a minnor like ORCA cant escape that kind of carnage

Hopefully next week people will exit headless chicken mode, and realise that HBR is a major gas producer as well, and that is going great guns even in summer

All those trades at 30 are sells this morning so MMs have no cause to raise the price
