Money purchase, personal pensions- which are becoming more of the norm (excluding public sector funds, which are largely unfunded anyway), have virtual total investment freedom. With the latter, it is up to the individual to choose where they invest

Charlie - you picked a good year to invest in a phenomenal share. Well done! The AISC is a separate figure to revenue, and represents the total ‘cost’ of producing an ounce of gold. To get to this figure, all expenses are totalled, but any income (sale of copper) is set off. The AISC helps demonstrate how efficient the mine is, but could be misleading. For example, a large copper to gold ratio could theoretically produce a negative AISC! Hope this helps.

This was an exercise of options, which will have also resulted in some pretty detailed personal tax calculations. She made a huge income tax chargeable gain on the options, and will also have a significant capital gains tax bill on her share disposal. She still retains a large holding, so nothing to worry about.

Nothing to get excited about, as they are simply exercising some of their options.

Apologies - that is a change of which I was unaware. However, the contribution limit is £20.000, so a£108,000 contribution is not possible, except as a transfer.

I don’t think so! Your maximum contribution to an ISA is £20,000 in the tax year, so your figures don’t stack up. Any withdrawals cannot subsequently be added back, unless your CONTRIBUTION remains at or below £20,000.

Over the last couple of days, we have seen significant numbers of smaller buys, indicating PI’s rather than big players. I wonder if this is potentially individuals working with one or more of IKA’s potential clients, seeing test results before they are officially reported, buying themselves and sharing with friends and family? Just a hunch, but quite possible. Also, good to see you back Yank!

So, ASX closes at equivalent of £8.01, yet I have only been offered £7.67. That’s a whopping 4% difference. Ridiculous
