Need....to....hold....my....nerve.....
GLA to all the LTH holders whom have endured the last year of ups and downs - Fingers crossed this isnt just a spike then back down to the 20's which we have seen so many times with Argo.....
champagne corks a poppin
Hi All - be kind on me, these might sound stupid, but only been investing for a year or so.
1) All this talk of Franfurt and OTC in USA - are they trading our 294m shares, but in their own currency? Basically a German or Amercian stockbroker?
2) Does the Dollar/Euro price have any indication on the UK price we could expect to see tommorrow (Or is it purely supply/demand) EG currently trading at $1 which is 74P equivalent, but UK Price 19P.
Trying to understand - sorry!
GLA
Hoping the Argo team have not just gone on an extended Xmas holiday and are selling their coins at this price to cover the monthly costs!
Wish it was Tuesday too.... I suppose the good thing with Argo is that even if the BTC price drops, we know that (hopefully) sold some at the higher price to help the bottom line....
Happy Christmas and all the best for the new year argonaughts....
Beast of Bodmin- I'm also a name you know, but don't post there much as would just get lost!
I'll meet you up at the infamous Inn On The Moor for a pint when the sale goes through or this hits the big bucks...
DS Flat - my sentiments exactly, although I like the the Hare and Tortoise, slow and steady wins the race (and also gives me time to accumulate at each payday!)
Personally happy to see a little consolidated for both ARB and BTC at the moment. With more II interest hoping to see a less volatile market.

Personally - i'm in for the long haul, so I would hope to see a buyback over a dividend payable (at the moment) as will reduce the amount of "freefloat" in the shares and (in theory) reduce the potential sellers.
Each to their own tho.

Argo Bull - I agree with this - not enough press on it!
The one thing I have noticed, however, is that ARB is being mentioned more on the trading groups I am part of on Facebook - you know the SYME and TILS loving ones..... Been a member of them for over a year and minimal mentions, however have seen 5-6 mentions in the last 4 weeks.
Ill refer back to my previous ARB anagoly of the Turtle and the Hare - Slow and steady wins the race.
Good luck all - we will get there...
I'm Blue.....
Happy with both the RNS this morning and genuinely hope to see some of the free float bought back to reduce the potential seller.
Will need to read them in a little more detail to understand the implications on ARB moving forward.
Hope the market is finally waking up to ARB's potential, just hoping we dont see the pull back again like we have done before.
Happy days.
I think the below explains it quite nicely as well

I'm going to maintain my newly found matra here of "Slow and Steady Wins the Race".
Dissapointing to hear we were offline for 4 days or so, hopefully the BOD has some right of recourse or has managed to negotiate something for the inconvenience.
I also like the fact they are taking contol of their supply chain in order to reduce the future potential for disruption - all to be paid with current cash in hand (so no share dilution via issues).
Even though progress is slow with a dissapointing drop over the last month or so, i would suggest the BOD are making the right decisions, with a new bit of progress/change being released every month. BTC adoption into the mainstream is a slow and steady process, so appears to be the progress here..let the covid casino be the hare and we shall be the tortoise.
Been quite slow on here for the last couple of weeks so good to see a few posts over the last 24 hrs.
I have only seen positive BTC related noise over the last few weeks - new IPO for Mode Banking the other day which deals with BTC.
Gotta admit I sold a few in a non ISA account last week to move it across to traditional mining companies - as soon as that company sells itself, will re-top on on ARB - just hope the spring doesn't release just yet. No faith lost here - just acting like a tortoise...
I agree, I also see a pattern with ARB - run up quickly and then a shake downwards again.
Long term lurker...first time poster with my 2 pence worth!
The comment 'long term supporters and new members'.. actually grabbed my attention the most and have been thinking about how they could encrypt something in there.
I recon the nod to both old and new was a subtle confirmation (at that point,) that regardless of how much you bought in at you would get good returns...which in turn means to me bid already recieved.....
Keep up the spirited conversation....back to my cave....
Its good to hear that the BOD will take calls from private investors - very re-assuring.
Perhaps you could give heads up before the call in the future and as a board we can pose our questions also (apologies if this was done and i missed it).
Slow day today, but as someone said early - hopefully some consolidation.
GLA
If we were to dual list - would we sell our shares in the LSE listing and re-purchase? Or would be granted an option to covert? Would there be an IPO (possibly at an inflated rate) or with dual listings do share prices in each listing usually go in tandem?
I get the premise of the need for a dual listing - confused at the practicality for current sharehodlers!
Good day ahead I hope!
