Aim is littered with companies that announced the headline-grabbing contract win, only to fall back once the "pump and dump" merchants extracted their short-term gain.
There is a more focused strategy here.
Litigation and debt-free provided the solid foundation. Organic growth, product diversity and occasional bolt-on, earnings-enhancing add ons provide the SP sustainable upwards momentum.
I prefer to sleep easy at night rather than the constant wait for some random contract win which more often than not is financially suspect.

Twix, I assume the day you stop moaning will be the day you finally sell-out (assuming of course you are even in here at all). Moan if there's no news, moan if the Co. informs via presentations...all I ever do is moan!
The most positive of presentations, so the constant groan of lack of 'contract' win RNSs is put in context- strong organic growth, selling in 60 countries and on a multi-product platform.

Especially encouraging is the diversifying of the Co. rather than the one-trick pony we have been prior to LR arrival, and the clear evidence this strategy is gaining rapid traction.

Although this is generally a lightly traded share in terms of daily numbers of transactions executed, I do notice that quite regularly there is a "transaction" entered which subsequently gets cancelled. The most recent is the 2 oct one of 100,008, cancelled today.
Just wondered whether this was simply fat-finger syndrome, or is something more sinister occurring?

I can think of no other company on the Wild-west market that is AIM which would RNS that it is unable to categorically claim that it has been paid for work undertaken, nor can it confirm a Contract has been signed and perhaps on what general terms.
Still, it should be enough to whet the appetite of the many die-hard jam tomorrow followers who continue to wish one day to break-even and hurry for the exit...

Well Twix, as the ultimate doomster since the inception of this Plc, it would be really,really nice if you made the perilous journey just once to air your grievances at the AGM. Then you could debrief us with any nuggets you have managed to glean.

In theory a useful appointment as seems to be part of CEO plan to provide strategic direction - wealth of potential contacts etc . Who knows, as long as the Co. continues to grow organically then may well become a tasty morsel for a larger player to snap up in due course.

It is barely a fortnight since the release of the results, not sure what cascade of RNSs you were expecting.
I prefer to look at the strong foundation laid by the CEO since arrival in clearing the bindweed of debt and litigation, a SP pretty much doubled since the turn of the year and solid increase in revenues.
Patience required in my humble view.

Barnaby, for a SP that has pretty much doubled since the start of the year, how much momentum do you want or expect?
Add in the elimination of debt, the removal of litigation, the acquisition of a multi-product Co that is already profitable, and you have the grounds laid for a firm momentum going forwards and upwards.
Personally I wouldn't let twix's serial depression put you off,it can be treated.

Having perused today's RNS, I am unsure as to what concrete, positive news it provides.
I note first and foremost that this announcement is made on the basis of something called a "Technical Partnership Agreement", presumably a hybrid of the MOUs we came to see regularly but could never rely upon.

The time-line is even scarier: the port opens on June 28, WSG has 10 days to prep. and be in a state of readiness (equipment, offices and all logistics etc), and is prepared to proceed with NO contract in place. The statement that the costings etc will be sorted at a later date is reminiscent of the Brexit negotiations at their very worst.
The "advance deployment team" sounds like an elite team, presumably to be parachuted in at a moment's notice, ready to bring the bacon home to us eager shareholders.

Apologies if I am a touch cynical at this delicate stage, but the timing of the announcement and its total absence of any meat on the bone is similar to many of the false-dawns provided here over the years.

Wouldn't it be nice if our beloved, highly profit-generative Sierra Queen could be patched up in time to be the very first to enter the port, with PF at the helm and surrounded by dignatories for the grand opening?

I enjoyed the reference slipped in furtively that the Co. will no longer be commenting upon individual MOUs as this has led to speculation in the past! You really could not make this up. Not forgetting of course that the Co.has fed off such speculation in order to support endless money-raises over the years, and somehow continue with the prospect of big jam-tomorrow, transformational deals just around the corner.
But do not despair. MOUs may have become a thing of the past, but in its place we have "Technical Partnership Agreements" and a "letter of intent received."

Considering the Co's latest purchase was a man n a shed with no assets somewhere in France, it requires a considerable leap of faith yet again to believe that WSG this time will become the big mover and shaker in a super-mod port in some untested part of Africa.

Personally the emphasis upon when's the next RNS has taken on ludicrous proportions led by the Twixalot doomsters.
Our CEO in a short time at the helm has eliminated litigation, eliminated debt and acquired a multi-product profitable company for not very much. Add in organic growth and repeat business etc, and yes, the handcuffs are off.
Do we really need a RNS each time as a comforter for the pessimists? Today's one with AR completing a decent buy should put a floor under the SP
Oh and the 11 million disposal was so negative that the SP is back where it was by the close of the following trading day. Patience, doomsters.

Well we've had more dilutive issue of options in the past, so good to see the main players getting further incentive if they still needed it. AR wading in with a decent purchase seems a good indicator of things to come?

There are some deals which are transformational - to a market or individual growing company.
This I am afraid is not one of them.
I really cannot recall an RNS announced with such fanfare, introducing for the cost of pennies, ...a man and a shed. Somewhere in La France.
If PF is "delighted" to announce this, wait till he gets world domination.

How this Co. continues to limp on is I suppose a remarkable achievement in itself.

At least we can be confident the decks have been cleared, the ship has just been topped up with new provisions, we are steering a global course and under Cap'n Lynn we should eventually return loaded with treasure, aye Jim me lad....

Hemo, Lets not forget that the company was drifting aimlessly (and expensively) to oblivion for several years as a result of the ongoing litigation prior to Lynn's arrival.
The resolution was achieved on his watch so as far as I am concerned he deserves due credit for achieving a very favourable outcome. This coupled with debt elimination has cleared the decks entirely from a commercial perspective.
A class act with a clear vision and direction.
