Holly even if gold dropped they need to feed Telfer with ground other wise it has to be shut and then reopened and that will cost more than to feed it with gold and just keep its head above water. So either way even the worst case scenario and gold drops to $1000 (which i very much doubt) it is being mined. This is why miners do not stop mining even when the price drops. shutting their machinery down costs to much to get it back up and running
