Balsenero was already destroying the amazon forests and threatening the heath of the planet ,this is just a continuation of his short sighted policies of get rich quick and screw the consequences.

Well lets hope they wake up as Brazil may be forced to rethink when markets begin to put tariffs on commodities that are not produced with environmental protection in mind and conversely reduced in those with green credentials making them more competitive .Times are a changing and need to rapidly as Covid impact us nothing compared to the impact of climate change will have .Even countries like China are now getting on board and USA now that nutter had gone for the time being.The world needs to act as one not motivated by self interest ....that's in nobody's interest.
