Apology accepted - thankyou. Things certainly appear to be taking longer than expected - even info released today is based on preliminary results. The funding is good though in these markets - what would the chances of a private placing at current or near market price?, and should allay any fears of MMS going bust or not being able to finance its operations going forward.
And I even posted only yesterday! Get your facts right mate before slinging around such bile.
What are you talking about? I am a shareholder like any other, there hasn't been much to post about over the last few weeks.
I used to be a churner, doing 100+ trades over a few months, but my account, apart from brief spikes up, kept on going down. Then I totted up the amount i'd paid my broker for all the trades and felt sick. I also realised that with the spreads on small shares, its a losing game, like a casino the odds are built in to be against you and for the house (MM's) - you have to make a consistent 10-20% just to break even! So I decided it was a better idea to research stocks thoroughly then buy in with a view to holding for the reward, confident that my position was solid due to the research (of course this was constantly reviewed), so when it dipped a bit I didn't feel the urge to sell out in a panic. This acquisition of confidence was the most important lesson I learnt.
I hope you didn't act on that thought? Both RRR and RGM down significantly since yesterday morning. Best not to chop and change with these sorts of shares imo - you inevitably lose out.
Good to see people doing some research on the shares they own. Keep it up.
Good post. "What have you got to lose" - exactly. At this price, where little or NO value is priced in for the companies several prospects, investors are almost in a win-win situation.
Aren't you going to take a swipe at chucky as well, for daring to post similar feedback from the company today? It must be awful when the company you invested in won't talk to you :)
Excellent - thanks for posting.
I reckon theis afternoon or if not then tomorrow. Its a week now.
That African Manager article is simply a write-up of the RNS issued 2 weeks ago!! doh
Or even existing ones, this is a good recap: http://www.minesite.com/nc/minews/singlenews/article/maghreb-minerals-wont-have-much-longer-to-wait-for-its-all-singing-all-dancing-report-on-the-gite/80.html?tx_ttnews%5BpS%5D=1222819200&tx_ttnews%5BpL%5D=2678399&tx_ttnews%5Barc%5D=1&cHash=f9f5375b59 And note it mentions they reduced cash burn from £150k to £50k a month - someone asked about that yesterday.
The 950k trade - its a buy from earlier.
The did one hell of a lot of drilling activity in H1 2008 but hardly any or none since then as far as I know, so I would assume cash expenditure to have been a lot lower sinc ethe interim results (cash £1.2m).
Maybe tomorrow but I did say I'm allowing a few days for them to put whatever the additional conclusion is into the report, get it to the nomad, them to get it to the market etc.
Nervy? You've held it for about a week. Imagine whats its like when you've held it for a year!
The wording is clear to me - 1. Scott Wilson expected to finish within 2 weeks 2. When they have finished the company expects to be able to publish the conclusions No mention of a further delay after the upto 2 weeks.
Actually getting, it said 'within' 2 weeks which I read as this Friday at the latest. I am allowing up to a further few days for them to release it after that, but I don't see why they would put an announcement out saying within 2 weeks if it was going to be much longer than that. The timescale seemed pretty exact to me.
I know the feeling i've been here nearly a year, so my average is over 3p. As saully123 says the 2 weeks is up in 2 days so news should be soon. Maybe we'll see another run up start shortly.
Could go anywhere couldnt it -skies the limit as its illiquid and moves v fast. Look aty the chart to see where it has gone up to i n the past on news.
