Innocent until proven Guilty. Let them all face the beak and the true manner of the involvement of all defendants will be found out. What if Samsung Display Co are the real culprits in this matter and it could be easily proven to be so? Would it not make sense for "Samsung" to try and get the display co removed from the litigation so that it could get them out of the line of fire, possilbly being the most vunerable to the lawsuit.?

After reading all of it, I am considering my position here. Seriously seems like we have all of our eggs in one basket.
A very good question indeed.
I am just glad that @enteleon took the time and trouble to answer me and ask the right questions, as judging by the replies I did ask a valid question. Just seems your moniker has to fit in here to get answer.
Surely, whether the patents run out or not Samsung would still have to pay for the QLED displays they have already manufactured using our IP, whether they have been sold or not, no?
enteleon: Thanks for your response and for giving an overview of the different things happening/about to happen soon.
Just my thoughts that Samsung may be preparing to "bite the bullet" on this one with Nanoco, given their focus now on QNED. "According to UBI Research, Samsung Display will begin manufacturing some 30,000 QNED panels a month from the second quarter of 2021. The source speaking to UBI Research also claims that once Samsung’s QNED-based TVs hit the market, these will pose a major threat to LG’s WOLED option – which it believes will be the successor to current LCD and LED panels." This would seem to indicate that they are in active planning to get their "own" display technology out to market an that it will supplant QDot, so if they have to pay for the privilege of using our tech for the past few years, so be it. It would explain their lack of response to our lawsuit against them.......
Just a thought...... I wonder who they nicked the QNED IP from????
Samsung is moving away from LCD technology inside its 4K and 8K TVs in favour of Quantum Dot panels, with Samsung Display (the dedicated display manufacturing arm of the South Korean giant) confirming plans to invest $11 billion in Quantum Dot technology by 2025. But while Quantum Dot is already being lined-up as the next-generation of its Smart TVs, the successor to that technology is already on the horizon.
Known as QNED, Samsung Display is already investing in the manufacture of the panels – with production kickstarting as early as the second quarter of 2021, according to a new report from ZDnet Korea and UBI research.
QNED promises to bring a number of advantages to your next gogglebox. It can deliver superior contrast ratios for deeper shades of inky black and vivid colours, higher brightness levels, and faster response times – to better keep pace with live sports, Hollywood blockbusters and next-generation gaming. Samsung believes QNED offers advantages over all existing display solutions and is pushing for the technology to become the next Gold standard.
According to UBI Research, Samsung Display will begin manufacturing some 30,000 QNED panels a month from the second quarter of 2021. The source speaking to UBI Research also claims that once Samsung’s QNED-based TVs hit the market, these will pose a major threat to LG’s WOLED option – which it believes will be the successor to current LCD and LED panels.

There are some interesting references to Samsung there. I registered but still could not read the latest articles.
For instance "MONDAY 13th July

What a company. This RNS is awsome and I for one have never seen such a comprehensive one, EVER.
Going to increase my holding and keep increasing it right up to 49p. When the penny finally drops about BMN in the market, that price will be dirt cheap!
GLTA
Up 19% now 113/125 on no news???
Why is BMN languishing?
It seems as if price is being held in a holding pattern... strange.
I used to be in this and am looking to get back in before price explodes.

-- The Merger will create a leading player in the growing energy storage market with a presence in North America, Europe, sub-Saharan Africa and Asia.
Samsung have been very very quiet, since news of the lawsuit dropped. No repudiation of the accusations of plagiarising...... is this normal if you are innocent of same?
The game is afoot!
Cheers Fredr, that anwers my question nicely.
Whats the odds on Nanosys merging with Nanoco? There is synergy between the two but what are the pro's and con's of such a merger?
