Under what circumstances can forward selling occur?
When we start to consider the circumstances under which forward selling can occur, the problems with the practice start to become evident. Firstly, in order for forward selling to be profitable the shares must be issued at below market prices. In the case of New World, the shares had been trading around 0.1p before the massively dilutive placing at 0.055p was announced. They still traded (in volume) at around 0.075p in the days immediately after the placing announcement, meaning an instant & substantial profit for the forward sellers.

There was a 200k; 111k; and 50k shares buys after hours today and one 480k shares sell.

I believe what is happening is the forward selling of the placed shares. They are being sold for a profit essentially as the current share price is higher than the placing. Easy profit for little effort.

He also has a couple of stinkers as he says. Cowies clangers as he calls them! VRS -77% SUPP -64% CCL -56%.

Iain has basically invested just over 1% on his fund into HE1. Not enough to lose sleep over but enough to have a vested interest. Interestingly he talks about his punt on ITM Power as well. So seems to have history of picking correctly.

Well I missed the top by 10p but looks like a retrace is on due to being overbought. Fingers crossed can buy back in for 38-42p. Long term still have lots of faith in ITM.

It's been very difficult that's for sure!! It's been my baby. It's a constant battle. I always said to myself i would set a target and get out then try and buy back in on a dip. This has gone up so much recently it felt like the right time. It's a brilliant company in my eyes. Can't complain with 70% profit. Will be buying back in for sure sometime.

Hey guys. Been invested in itm for about 5-7 years now. Remember the 80p days when I should have sold out first time and bought back in. Today I finally sold at 48p having averaged down to 28. Will be keeping an eye on this company as I expect big things to come. Hoping for a dip to buy back in. For me hydrogen is the future fuel of choice.

I read in this report a while ago that a conservative start up date of 2017 for Nkout. but that may be too conservative...so could be earlier. Shares will still be traded up until the 22nd September. usually when a company announces it is to go private the share price jumps a little. guess we will see right?! We have a week to get the hell out of this share at a decent price.
