I too was one of the 100 people who watched the webinar and totally agree with you there was nothing I heard which I considered to be a negative, quite the opposite. A lot of positives and I for one am excited about what the future holds for this wonderful company, not just to make a pound or two from the rise in the share price, but also what they are expecting to achieve in the fit against many illnesses which will save many a person's life

Hello Papa9911, yes I have been keeping up to date with things on here. To be honest I lost my Husband to Cancer 18 months ago, no children, so no family, but fortunately some very good friends to keep me going although I have not disclosed the amount of money I have lost investing in AAOG. I must admit I have a somewhat easier mind not keeping looking at the share price as is drops and drops and savings disappearing. I have just to get my mind straight about the thousands I have lost, stop having this feeling of such guilt and let go of the hatred I have for the people who misled me and other people with their actions, how can they look at themselves in the mirror in the morning and feel okay about what they have done. Looking to go on holiday with friends in the Summer to Italy. Thank you for your kind words

Thank you Papa9911 I wish you well. I just cannot come to terms with the money I have lost and the guilt I am feeling about it as I used money left to me on the understanding I did something exciting with it and for a while it was exciting, but now nothing but guilt that is why I NEED to walk away and get on with my life. I bet the two main culprits of this debacle are not feeling any guilt for the carnage left behind them.

Well folks sadly I have decided to call it a day with AAOG What started as an exciting experience ended up as a disaster for me to the point where it has started taking a toll on my health so I have sold up and swallowing that bitter pill of defeat. I consider myself to be quite an intelligent person who decided to invest in AAOG going by all the wonderous statements made on here by certain persons and also by the misleading information provided by certain company representatives, silly me!! It is a very hard life lesson, but as my old Mum used to say "If something seems too good to be true then it probably is" wise words in light of what has happened here. I do hope that there is indeed such a thing as Karma as there are some people walking on this earth who are needing to experience the hardship, utterly helplessness and upset their actions have caused to people who genuinely believed in them, only to be sold down the river. I wish everyone who is hanging on in there the very best for the future, I just wish I was a stronger person to persevere but I simply cannot go on feeling the way I do. GOOD LUCK I think you're going to need it!!

Though it pains me to say this as I watch my savings disappearing down the tubes, I think you're flogging a dead horse and we just have to suck to it up. We were sold down the river and today is a sad day for the PI's who believed what they were being told I'm sick to my stomach

At what point does the BOD or more directly does Sarah Cope have to take cognisance of the large amount of shareholders wishing acknowledgment of the offer from ALIGN. It appears they are completely blanking them and also not making shareholders aware via a RNS that there has been approach by ALIGN to be considered and that the ZEN deal is NOT the only option now available. Surely it is about time that the going's on should be reported or brought to the attention of some governing authorities who monitor such things before it is all too late. I am no expert but can they just get away with ignoring everything being put forward simply because it is not what they want, is this not a breach of some rules or regulations governing companies and their share dealings

Align meanwhile are marshalling their forces, as per their note yesterday to answer all AAOG questions:

1.We are not proposing to inject £100,000 into AAOG. We are proposing to inject just shy of £1m through also purchasing the ESA stock in full. This achieves another bonus for shareholders through taking out an overhang of stock and allows the shares to “breathe” if we conclude the deal. This money would come in quickly and without onerous conditions as is likely to be the case in the Riverfort financing proposal.

2.The warrant attachment at 1.5p is because we believe that if we are successful in future negotiations with the SNPC surrounding repayment of due monies, that there is a very good chance of these being exercised. This would bring a net additional £1.8m into the company and properly stabilise the balance sheet aswell as provide funds for drilling.

3.There has been a lot of nonsense spouted from various quarters with regards to our debt package and Oxford Energy Ltd. The Ltd company is simply a dormant entity at present through which funds would be channelled in the debt facility. Work is taking placing to prove up to the BoD of AAOG’s satisfaction in the next couple of working days the surety of these monies. Remember, we have had to put this proposal together largely in the dark, with the provision of DD material being delayed from the BoD of AAOG and over a much shortened festive working period.

So - immediate money for survival with good terms - check, debt backers clarified - check, enough money to pay off ZEN penalty as required - check Forward production plan - check SNPC more likely to pay as trust gained - check

Once all questions are answered, what possible recourse could Ms Cope have to reject Align?

Therefore every vote counts to remove this board - vote Align

In my humble opinion we MUST vote for the align DEAL, it is our only hope of at least having some chance of a future for the company, especially as it appears that the BOD are taking absolutely no heed of any other proposals being put forward to them for the 'good of the company' as they keep banging on about. Some of the PI's here are really hurting but that seems to mean nothing to these people, they are all out for what THEY can get before the company dies on its feet. PLEASE FOLKS WE CANNOT JUST SIT BACK AND RELY ON OTHER PEOPLE VOTING!! We must ALL make the effort and vote let's send certain people a message that we are prepared to fight for our savings, company and future of AAOG as an ongoing and hopefully company to be proud of don't let them walk all over us as if we mean absolutely nothing, we are not simply numbers on a spreadsheet, we are real people who deserve better!!

Well spotted Mrs. Skittish!! It will be most interesting to see what reply, if any, you receive from Sarah Cope with regards to this error and what action is planned to redress the matter as it is extremely important.
I sent an email to Sarah Cope to confirm my preference for the Align deal and that I had voted accordingly, however never received any response/acknowledgement. I also sent an email to Richard Jennings to inform him of my vote against the ZEN deal and my preference for the Align deal to which I received an email back within 15 minutes thanking me for my support which I appreciated as I know he must be a very busy man. Just shows the difference with regards to attitude towards PI's currently invested in AAOG

Hello Tiptop good to see you back. I am one of the true and genuine investors in AAOG you are talking about. This has been my first entry into the world of buying shares and did indeed considered carefully all information put before me by both the Board of Directors and yourself who seemed to be very well connected and informed about the going's on within AAOG relating to all the plans for the future. However I in no way blame you for anything, yes I have lost what is to me a small fortune buying these shares, but it was my choice to do so, I went by the information being put before me, so it has been a very hard lesson to learn. I too hope that the persons who are responsible for the current position we find ourselves in are held to account and that perhaps everything is not lost. I am a great believer in Karma and hope that all persons who have lost at the hands of certain people find some good fortune in the future. So Tiptop I will close by saying, yes there are a lot of people hurting, but it has absolutely nothing to do with anything you have done, please do not blame yourself for anything you have nothing to feel guilty about, you said it as you saw it or were led to believe, we're all in the same boat. I too have voted NO for the ZEN deal for the same reasons as Mouse. Someone really needs to have a good look at what has gone on here the only problem is who do you get to check 'the books' and if they do find out there has been some dodgy deals where do we go from there, who can bring the persons responsible for this collapse to task and to what end especially in respect of the PI's who have lost thousands?? Another thing I cannot understand, if this location/oil field is such a world class find why has there not been any approach from the 'big boys' who own the surrounding sites to buy out AAOG and put another deal forward for consideration, or is it a case there has been but we are not being told, to try and restrict what options shareholders think they have

I have recently noticed several posts where the words "Fraudulent, Criminal, Dishonest" have been used to describe what is going on with this share/company/former directors . If that is the case then should this not be reported for investigation with whatever authorities are responsible for regulating such conduct

Hello Mr. Mouse, I am also holding on despite things being grim. As stated I have just had to come to terms with what has happened as best I can so anything good that can come out of this debacle I would now consider a bonus. Just feel so disillusioned with all that has gone on, absolutely gutted that I have been so stupid. Your heading is absolutely spot on it is SCANDALOUS the way we have been led up the garden path. I know everyone is responsible for making their own decision when investing in AAOG, however I, like a lot of people on here, made the decision to invest purely on the positive information that was provided by certain people

Yes, you are right Irish all of this was totally out of character. Was shell shocked this morning as everything seemed to be going well and the future plans seemed so exciting just shows nothing in life is a certainty. Don't know what my old Uncle would be thinking however it was my choice to have a go at something new and that was what he stated he left the money to me for. Let's hope I have the last laugh
