The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Anyone notice how Quack-a-day doesn't just post on one thread. Once he posts it's nearly always on the top 3 or 4 threads so as to make sure that anyone casually looking in sees only his negative posts. Crafty tactics from the resident nutter with an axe to grind.
Good chat around renewables, metals and price inflation. Silver front and centre for Solar...

Jesus Christ Brad! Is this what this thread has come to? You talking about your bloody threadbare underpants! No one and I do mean no one wants to hear this $h!t.
Have you forgotten to take your meds or something? Anyway I don't buy the old meds excuse, your meds are for early onset dementia not for talking absolute ****e! Unfortunately I don't think they have a pill for that yet!
Are you so arrogant that despite being asked numerous times by numerous posters to keep things on topic or at least somewhere near the topic, you continue to post the most rubbish I've ever seen anyone post on any financial forum.
Please TG for the love of God get these bl00dy announcements over the line so your number one fan Brad can have something meaningful to talk about.
"I also haven't seen them reference being open to the west along strike before"
It was mentioned in one rns a few years back and I remember correcting someone when they posted something like "and it's open to the East" but then it was never mentioned again in any rns (until now) so I figured they'd just made a one off typo in that rns.
Yes back some time ago Shed you seemed very sceptical when I posted some chart ideas. As I said at the time it's a mixture of art and science and at the end of the day any 'predictionsn' is never 100% there is always a balance of probabilities with a percentage chance of confidence of a given scenario playing out. This one played out rather well ;)
Cheers Grappa, for my next trick I'll magic a one pound shareprice and we can all sell up lol
Still think TA is useless Shed? I posted the above price prediction last Sunday and no I didn't know an rns was coming out! This share doesn't readily lend itself to TA for several reasons but I saw certain things in the chart on Sunday that strongly indicated this move this week.
Remember GregPeck if you look around and think everyone else in the room is an idiot, the idiot is probably you ;)
Yep good news today, 4 target areas identified and drilling to start about a month from now.
Except it isn't. The infrastructure and convenience just isn't there yet. Petrol stops everything stops. Also to create the infrastructure for this green revolution will require a load of oil in itself plus oil is used for hundreds of purposes not just filling up petrol tanks! The likes of big oil may be trying to put on a green face but they're still starting new prospects in areas of the world that are not as scrutinised and for small companies the like of UOG there are hundreds of millions of dollars to make over the coming few years. Mid cap in the making.
Quack-a-day loves the sound of his own voice too much. I'd say completely self absorbed but he's actually more obsessed with CB and trying as hard as he can to discredit him. It's funny how obsessive some people can become when they lose a bit of money through their own investment decisions. If you can't take the loss Quack-a-day you should never have been investing in the first place. It's the stock market It's risky. If you don't like it go buy some premium bonds zzzzzzz
7.65p was initial resistance before the big move to 12.5p then on the way back down it acted as support on several occasions so it's no surprise to see it once again giving a little bit of resistance but the overall trend looks good. 50 DMA is above the 200 DMA and price is above both. We've been steadily moving up from the lows and creating higher lows on the weekly chart. With today's 8p intraday price we also created a new short term higher high. The indicators aren't overheated so I'd expect us to move up and push through with a close above 7.65p this week maybe even tomorrow.
This time next year Rodders we'll be millwionaires!
Yep still at it smiller I see. I'll see you on the UFO and GGP threads to help folks there the way you're trying to help them here :) Honestly I'm just trying to understand
Purely from a TA perspective I'm expecting 9p this coming week. Might then retrace again and disappear up it's own a*** or may kick on if we receive favourable news but that's the price I'm expecting this coming week.
Prospector, to engage with derampers is complete folly. It is exactly what they want. It gives oxygen to there specious arguments. Also it is obvious from their posts that they will never be persuaded, they're not open to persuasion all they're interested in is personal attacks on CB and searching every avenue and angle to try and come up with negatives. You have one who has had a personal vendetta against CB for years and another who openly admits he doesn't own any shares and won't buy in. If you want to engage with them go right ahead but I won't waste my time with people that have those kind of agendas.
I think the more pertinent question is are you both sane? The answer clearly is no.
Wow some really desperate posting here today from Quackadoo and Smiegel. Neither holds, barmy!
Yes the damage was done years ago but still his attitude hasn't changed wrt keeping shareholders properly informed and promoting the company satisfactorily. It's all well and good saying now it's all about the PFS but what happens if we don't have the funds to finish it? Or we finish it and still no one is interested? Then we have a shareprice at rock bottom with the prospect of another catastrophic raise that would finish most LTH's off for good. So in short to answer your question I want more openess, more engagement, more accountability, no more stupid comments like the value event that hasn't materialized 6 months later or the 'other options for funding' and then they went and raised. Own goals both of them as was the **** up that was the scoping study some years back. All avoidable. Finally I want LR to are about the shareprice because it does matter despite what he believes. It matters for sentiment, it matters because a rising shareprice brings in fresh investors, it matters when things don't quite go to plan and you have to fundraise. So I want them to promote the company better and finally I want LR and any other directors to buy some shares. Then they can keep repeating the mantra that the sharepricee doesn't matter and see how that feels 4 years down the line and 86% down!
I think we've already had several catastrophic sell-offs, the market cap is Β£3.81m for how much value in situ? They say it can always go lower but much lower and we'll disappear up our own a*** hole!
Another catastrophic sell off and we could probably all club together and buy the company ourselves lol I'd love to do that and then say to LR here's your end game mate and here's ya severance cheque we'll take it from here and we do care about the shareprice! Byeeeeeeee!
Two things that would immediately help here are firstly being told yes we have enough money to finish the PFS, that is an area of doubt and needs to be cleared up. Secondly some sort of timescale for the aforementioned PFS, might be trickier because of Covid delays but surely a ballpark date could be pencilled in. There's too much uncertainty around this company and that's one thing the market hates although all my stocks have been marked down lately anyway so it is a sector issue but we look even weaker within a poorly performing sector. Not caring about the shareprice and playing the long game were his stated method of operating but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't have clarity about whether the PFS is now fully funded after over a year of doubt and a rough timetable to completion of it.
