The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I think the worst thing we could do is reduce the hodl.
When people look at miners get the impression size of the hodl is of primary importance.
Miners are increasingly being seen as an alternative to directly buying BTC so any reduction in hodl would reduce their attraction.
I am invested in Arb via pension & ISA so wouldn’t want to buy BTC outside of them and the increasing hodl is important to me. I get the direct exposure to BTC as well as the bonus of a Blockchain company.

Always liked the guy !
Because at the moment it’s seen as a volatile asset and people are moving to what they consider a safe asset. Knee Jerk reaction is to move away from BTC. As BTC becomes more established esp with the institutions volatility will reduce and won’t get the same reaction. Early days for BTC.

“Losses” relate to revaluation of BTC , so the same for all miners.
Along with mining performance we also report the reduction or increase (hopefully next month) in the value in our monthly update. Looking at the Mara monthly report as an example of other miners they only seem to look at mining figures. Maybe one reason for current share price if it creates headlines like this ?

Lawson76 . Another article on the new Bitcoin mining etf. Fund is concentrating on green miners which presume is why Arb is top allocation. Think going forward Arbs green credentials are going to put us in a strong position esp with Texas location not only being green but also using high levels of otherwise wasted power - helping the state power companies.
