They had high levels of educated people.

They paid high taxation, for that they got the following -good education, good housing, a good quality of life, low crime, a very good healthcare system . Those in need got good welfare, see the word GOOD appears so often, a happy peoples !

Now one country Sweden, decided that their GOOD life should be shared with those poor refugees. So they took them in and now they regret it, no good life any more, no low crime, no women (that word again Sam) walking alone in certain areas, sounds like parts of the UK, Sam, I am sure that your Unions General Secretary will cheer the new developments in Sweden.

And Nordic countries, energy supplies are mostly hydro-electric cheap plentiful electricity that is why EVs did well there.

Norway has large amounts of oil/gas but sells most of it and with that cash created the worlds largest Sovereign wealth fund .

Well Labour from 1997 to 2010 managed to make the workers poorer, minimum wage + importing cheap labour = wealthy bosses. The CBI loved New Labour.
