When you have lived through many Labour and Tory governments you do not need brain washing, as to whom did what and when. I take it this GE, will be your first time that you will be eligible to vote.
I have never seen or heard a socialist say anything, positive about anything, nothing ! they find fault or an argument with anything. Why even sexuality, is now their new battle front, with Palestine added in as an extra. As if they care about Gazans, as if they care about a man in a frock! When they /you get board with the present crop of pathetic squabbles you will need some other imaginary historical fact to jump on. You avoid the mistakes or even malicious deeds under taken by Labour governments.
Interestingly, Palestine 1948. 1948 WHICH PARTY WAS IN POWER IN 1948, when we pulled out of Palestine, which government had had enough of seeing its troops killed by both sides in Palestine?
Does Khan and his Muslim friends know about the party he claims to support.
1947, India which government was in power in 1947 a momentous year, for which sub-continent a year of mass sectarian murder?
People as bitter as socialist never make good friends for anyone.

You have been to the DR Congo several times for work reasons, I wonder what work would attract someone to that place.
The man in question posed a hypothetical question which many could have taken as a factual statement, the way it was worded. The fighting around Goma is localised, he did not say that, so as I POINTED IT OUT if you got OUT of the city you would be in the safe areas. The DR Congo, does have an army, by the way. No need to get a economy seat, on a flight to the Heathrow. I also pointed out that the area, is central to Africa, a large continent with many African countries in all directions in which no wars are being fought.
The civil war in Rwanda which people like to bring up as if it is still being fought , ended over 20years ago.
The actually reason for the INTER-TRIBAL war was due to the past enslavement of one tribe by the other, I forget who did what to whom. It, was pay back time as they say, that elephant in the room SLAVERY African on African, black on black and and for some reason no one mentioned it, but we were expected to pick up the resulting pieces / refugees . I read only recently that some associated with the mass killings, in Rwanda have been allowed to live in the UK, so we took in both sides, which I find rather strange and they live here happily together !
I do remember the Nigerian civil war when one side starved the other into submission .
On visiting Africa , I like you have been there several time, my daughter inlaw comes from South Africa, she runs a travel business taking in safaris and the Zulu War battle sites. She is there as I write , her first stop is Botswana then Zimbabwe and then South Africa she is there for a month. I first visited Africa as a 17 yr old in the Merchant Navy back in the late 1968/9.

If the Doctor in question, cares so much about the health of the voters, why did he choose to become a member of the blood sucking establishment that we know as the political class?
How many lives can he protect/improve, sitting with another 649 spongers in the Commons, but that does fit the socialist profile. Talk the talk, but follow the easy money and buy your council house cheaply !
So many millionaires and Lords claiming to be people of the people for the people.
Hardup.
The point I made about there being two Congo's was not directed at you as none of my other remarks were.
The African raising the hypothetical question should have made known to which one of the two he was from. That is he is from any of the two.
The questions have to be presented to he BBC for selection, as the audience is picked , so are the questions.
Years ago the programme was presented as being none partial and live, neither it turned was true, that is when I stopped watch it. It was strange that in which ever town or constituency the programme was aired from the audience always had a left wig bias. As I could see from your snippet things have not changed.
Nothing was aimed at yourself .

I watched the link that you posted.
It confirmed a couple of things.
One, of the confirmations was that our MPs are of a low quality and that includes all, of them.
The other confirmation, was that the Question time programme, is and always has been biased and questions are loaded to suit the BBC and not the wider public.
The gentleman was putting an Hypothetical question, which to many may have sounded factual.
The question concerned the present localised fighting around the city of Goma, in the Congo (there are two Congo's by the way) close to the Rwandan border.
He asked that if his family arrived from Goma (now) as refugees would they be sent to Rwanda .
Well if they could get out of Goma, they would not be having to flee the Congo, the fighting is localised, the rest of the Congo is safe. Both nations called "Congo" are in Central Africa, surrounded by other African countries, why would they need to travel to the UK ?
Perhaps it is time we got some people in the right positions to set the right questions to these so called refugees.

I would imagine that the markets have priced in a Labour victory.
Considering that the Tory party now exists in name only and most of those running the top companies are paid up members of the woke brigade, we will not know how the economy will react until after the event.
One thing will and is certain the number of signs saying White men need not apply with increase, Muslims will push harder to project their dominance . Starmer will have a power struggle to deal with, that is a certainty.
Violence on the streets will increase balkanisation will increase, this WILL affect the economy and Labour will blame the Right Wing, who ever they may be.
I will be going into full cash mode, prior to any GE.

You think we are sinking fast, Canada is sinking faster.
As with every country (white) which is fallowing the WEF/Davos set instructions it is now a basket case.
For some strange reason it is suffering from the following.
1.Housing shortage
2.High house prices.
3.High rents.
4.Homelessness.
5. A rising crime rate.
6. A deteriorating medical system.
7. Idiot politicians.
8. Heading for power shortages.
9.A failing infrastructure .
10. A growing drugs problem.
Can anyone guess what the common denominator is ?

If Labour, as you say came for the whole stock market, surely that will make some of our socialist /Marxist investors whom comment on this board wonderfully happy!
They cannot willingly hand their money to the poor down trodden, whom they pass every day on our streets! but are happy for a third party to take their money and splash their cash .

The last time I worked for Millers they were a Civil Engineering company working on the MEPAS Scheme in Liverpool, over 25yr ago. They came out with the same rubbish then, as they all do. Although they did give the site staff a good free weekend in Dublin when the Tunnelling part of the job was over. They moved into housing a couple of years later if I remember correctly.
A politician from the Irish Republic, complaining that, as she says, 80% of the immigrants entering the Republic are coming through the border with the North.
A border that the Republic insisted should remain open to free movement, during the Brexit negotiations .
Another example of putting short sighted small brained idiots in a position of power, soon it will be the UKs fault ! it is never the Irish is it.

Yes I remember it well, Boris (buffoon) and the Tories were going to confine the Labour party well and truly into the political bin.
As well as the things you mention. Boris was out of his depth amongst many others out of their collective depths.
Starmer is a light weight surrounded by other light weights , in fact the whole establishment is populated by intellectual pygmies .
You only have to look at Labours deputy leader, a women who does not know what constitutes a principle residence.
Labour will produce a government not only having to deal with their union paymasters but their Muslim contingent within the party, plus the other fringe lunatics waiting to crawl from beneath the floor boards.

On your willingness to pay higher taxes.
We paying higher taxes will change nothing, for the so called poor, whom ever they are now in this country.
The disparity between the wealthy and us, the normal people, is widening all over the world.
If any government here, could by some miracle, get the debt down and government spending into balance, do you know what they would do? They would just start the cycle of borrowing and debt all over again. buying votes increasing expenditure on something/things that does not benefit the masses.
Governments/the Civil service are made up of people whom NEVER SUFFER CONSEQUEINCES of their mistakes or even malicious actions. They all think they are some intellectually great thinkers, when in reality they are mediocre chancers, intellectuals actually produce nothing, zero, zilch, they spout and cause mischief but create nothing.
Remember taxation was brought in thousands of years ago to pay for armies and to build palaces , nothing about equality.
Both Sunak and Starmer only paid a tax rate of around 22+% on their far greater earnings, than most working people will ever see.
Your money is your money mine is mine, we owe no one anything.
One of the main drivers of financial inequality, the driving down of pay , a planed action by those untouched by their own actions as mentioned above.
Your money keep it.
