However, you are right of course. I forgot the other golden rules and suffered terribly as a consequence.

There is always a slight sense of dejection when the share price at the end of the day doesn't match the energy put into the forum don't you think? Yeah yeah, it's all long term..doesn't matter in the short term...don't panic etc etc. BUT, even if the share finishes 0.00001% up it feels like everything is ok with the world. Not today. Today is a clear signal that the share is completely doomed, as are we all, because the price dipped at the end and I am now left in abject misery.

I was clowning around with the other half earlier and was standing on the last but one step at the top of the stairs as she walked along the landing.

"Would you still love me if I was this tall?" I asked from the height of her neck.
"How is the share doing?", she replied
"Well, it's down a bit but I'm sure it will pi..."
"Oh", she interjected and walked off.

It's a terrible business this shares malarky.

Haha..Quitefrankly. Well for two months I cycled around and around a field, swearing at myself and pretending I was both coach and student. I'd follow this up with several glasses of wine and then flake out.

However, I am now on a diet of no bread, no booze and no processed sugar. When my eyes stops twitching I'll let you know what's next.

That's interesting hydrogen. I guess we have the arrival of websites like this which would be a relatively new innovation. (Even now there are only two I can think of and this one is by far the more active). Add to this the ease of online dealing and speed of internet and we are treading new ground.

I'd love to know if anyone has experienced a share that has had this amount of chatter and enthusiasm and went on to become the star that everyone was hoping for? Obviously, there are a number that failed but what about the success stories?

I have a very similar holding panama. I found some cash under the kitchen sink and bought up to 1.3 m shares. I realise that if this does reach 75p per share and I almost become a millionaire, there will already be a number of multi millionaires on here on the strength of GGP alone. I don't begrudge them their fortune. For me it will be fantastic but I never forget the words my father once said to me:

"Mushroom", he said, (not really because he knew my real name) "Mushroom, I knew when you were growing up that you would never become a millionaire" "Oh thanks dad", I answered somewhat crestfallen. "Don't feel dejected", he added, "I meant this in a positive way. All you have ever needed was a pair of shorts and sandals and a fishing rod and you are happy."

Panama, Good luck with that! I am pretty convinced that some trading has been going on but few would admit to doing it. As a medium long term holder I can tell you I haven't top sliced apart from having to cash in a few k to live on a month or so ago.

The rest is well and truly placed on the table.

Since returning to the UK, this household has had numerous discussions about 'the future'. Our whole planning, whether it be plan a,b or c, is linked to GGP news about to be released over the next few months. I.e the movement of the share price in tandem with this news.

Portugal has been selected for our new home and it is important to secure Portuguese residency, for several reasons to do with EU membership, before 31st December.

I should add that no plan considers failure of the share, only measures of success and how long to wait before buying the new castle.

Whatever, I forecast a trip over in September, by which time the MRE for Havieron will have been announced and possibly a bid received from NCM (and from a 'Canadian' company??) for the GGP portion.

My understanding is that GH prefers the simplicity of accounting required for AIM listing, so GGP may yet remain out of the FTSE despite growing towards it.

MFU...the sentence that arrived like a lightening bolt from a board member who has since disappeared! I can't (don't want to either) repeat it either, since it was the root cause of the disruption to our time and space continuum! Suffice it to say it was an unsupported claim about production that could have been taken a number of ways. That was why it was so disruptive.

I'm reminded of the Ray Bradbury short story 'A Sound of Thunder' (ironic really), where a time travel machine has been invented enabling hunters to travel back in time to shoot T Rex, just before the creatures were due to die naturally anyway (thus not upsetting the balance of time to present day) One hunter panics, steps off the platform and crushes a butterfly.

When the party returns to present day, this tiny action has magnified a millionfold in consequence. It's now a different president and English is slightly altered.

I feel the twelve word sentence was the butterfly here today.

Because I'm a caring soul, I always feel sorry for those who have purchased at the highest point of 12.5 but then I also felt sorry for those who purchased at 5.5p and 9.5p when it hit those highs a while back and then dropped back. I guess they are quite happy now!

Fact is, the share is sitting pretty. Those who sold today were always going to sell early anyway imo and gave the share a false bit of icing over the last few days.

Now I seem to remember one of the messages coming from your once-removed 'contact' within the machinery hire business, that NCM were trying to get every man and his uncle to get there with the purpose of taking the cap of the mine. I presumed at the time that this would be to facilitate easier/ more economic/effective drilling.

I wonder if this is the 'over-burden' referred to today?

Does anyone feel as washed out as I do? It's almost as if the last three amazing days for this share have drained all the emotions. Each rise, each penny rise, brings the reality of a considerable growth in prosperity ever-nearer. I think it must be worse than winning the lottery. Wih the lottery you have a wonder ticket and overnight, your world changes. You then deal with that finite change.

Here you have choices. You have to decide when to call time and make a reality of your 'paper success'. You muse over how you want to spend the money arising from a variety of share prices and only after you have pressed the sell button, does the matching dream become a reality. All other dreams become irrelevant at that point.

It's teasing when something you want is just beyond arm's reach but more so when you don't quite know what you are reaching for.
