What does it mean - Seismic amplitudes (Anomaly) have been used for many years in West of Shetlands with mixed success.

Discoveries such as Laggan,Tormore and Cragganmore have shown that seismic amplitudes can be used to predict hydrocarbons successfully. But with a large number of failed wells, using the seismic method for predicting hydrocarbons is by no means foolproof.

The Wild Horse prospect is a prominent structural high on the flank of the as yet undrilled Baatsagaan Basin and is ideally located to receive charge from two deep basinal areas mapped to the East and West. The structure has elements of four-way dip closure and fault closure. It also has bright seismic events that appear to conform to structure and which may therefore be indicative of hydrocarbon fluid content. Wild Horse 1 is located to drill through one such anomaly at the crest of the structure. The prospect has a large section within structural closure from 700m to total depth and the recoverable resource potential is estimated to be 480MMbo.

Currently, it is difficult to separate out anomalously high seismic amplitudes associated with gas to those related to the high porosity but water-wet sandstone.

I am hoping the anomaly is gas...

The first drill penetrated Isobel deep F3H did not penetrate the deeper Isobel deep F3I or Isobel Deep F3J. Isobel deep F3I looks just as large in 3D picture as Isobel deep F3H; while this second drill main target must be Elaine South which looks about twice the size of Isobel deep F3H.

We get 10.7p based on the RKH price of 35.75p which equates to .2993. If you have 10,000 FOGL shares you'll get 2993 RKH shares.

With FOGL @ 9.99p your getting the Rockhopper shares at 29.90p saving yourself 5.5p with RKH @ 34,48p Oh and I wonder if Rockhopper will find oil in Humpback once the "merger" happens....

Rockhopper said on Tuesday it had made a takeover offer for rival Falkland Oil and Gas (FOGL) which values the latter at 57.1 million pounds ($86.5 million). The takeover, which will involve FOGL's chief executive and chairman joining the Rockhopper board as non-executive directors, will merge the companies' exploration campaigns in the Falkland Islands, they said in a joint statement.

Looking at what RKH last drilling campaign it took 3 month from the end of well to CPR. I would expect we will get a combined CPR for both Zeb/Isobel (PL004)... although it could be released 3 months after Chatham drill, so that PMO/RKH can release a combined CPR that includes Chatham..

If you look at what RKH says about Isobel/Elaine in it capital markets presentation for the NFB. Gross P10 = 1.4 Billion/bbls Gross Pmean = 510 Million/bbls Giving FOGL Gross P10 = 540 Million/bbls Gross Pmean = 240 Million/bbls Sealion currently gives us 47 M/bbls, while Zebedee should give us another 60-70 M/bbls giving us 107-117 M/bbls the sealion field. Now if you count the 47 M/bbls at a £1/bbl that gives you 0.8p a share. (What Panmure says we are worth) If you calculate the same for Zebedee say 60 M/bbls that gives you 11p a share. So 0.19p a share without counting any cash they have.. or what they have found and what they might find in in the next Isobel/Elaine drill..

Rockhopper currently has 178 million barrels including Zebedee... If Isobel/Elaine comes in as expected they would have a further 240 million.. Giving RKH 418 million barrels. While the Fabulous FOGL would have 503.2 million barrels.

47.2 million barrels from the Sea-lion field Zebedee targeted STOIIP resources of 140 million barrels giving FOGL 56 million barrels from there, however waiting on the CPR to confirm the numbers. Isobel and Elaine are composed of 6 stacked objectives with the potential to contain STOIIP resources of 1.07 billion barrels. So a possible 400 million barrels from Isobel/Elaine complex.
