RE: Updates2 May 2019 17:10
Toro respect for the reply, and further respect for not knocking my opinion or taking offence. The valuations were based not only on resource but production so these are producing sites and the potential for Ghana is there ..... just begs the question “ how long will it take ? “ to prove up the site if testing is going on after so many months and looks like July before results come out .....
where is the catalyst for the sp ? Ghana is supposedly number 1 or furthest advanced right ? So after 5 months of testing 2 / 3 areas of possible 6 or 7 potential bigger sites makes it 2-3 years before they realise full potential .... so this is the most advanced project ???? Begs the question how long the other assets will take. My personal option is this is at best a 5 year investment IF the assets come through as VM says so.
I’ve been around many times and hate false promises from companies or delays or No News for many months so that’s my theory.
Many have shouted from roof tops before and as SWest49 put is perfectly “ why don’t sumitomo” just stump up £10-20m and put a real rocket under the sp and subsequently the value of their holding increases.
It’s just really strange to have all these heavyweight backers and yet funding seems to be holding the company back.
Let’s just hope for the holders sake one of these don’t jump ship or you will be trying to justify the same asserts at a sp that’s in the single digits.
Many have invested their own money as ceo eg ppc yet lost many millions although an oil stock it just shows ceo backing is not always a win win.
Don’t get me wrong , I will apologies once again if I cause offence as that’s not my style and nor do I e we wish on investors to lose money as only a low life would gloat from that but it’s very surprising to see such heavyweights, such assets and such a low sp / funding confirms long term that they had to agree a possible 15% dilution to the sp at a sp that suits them ...... currently it looks like they will have no choice but to use the shares at the current sp to pay the bills.
Maybe at times I’ve sounded rather critical of the current situation but what IF ..... what IF Ghana disappoints ? For whatever reason ???? Should they not have deployed the funds to drill out the whole site and then have VW come knocking with a bowl begging for the Li ? I just hope it works out for you guys. I don’t like optimistic ceo’s Or cocky assumptions from any bod members ..... VM better deliver for u guys.
