It’s not about the % although it helps and in your suggested prices would save me £1,000.

I just want to buy at the bottom. I’m happy to wait, I have a lot of experience and if I waited with hindsight and thought “ if I miss out then sod it but I’m waiting to buy lower” then 90% of the time I would have saved soooo much money. Most investors buy and I statky are nursing losses and eventually sell and breakeven or small profits.

I’m happy to wait here although I see it has major supper at £17. If for any reason I can get £16.70 instead of £17.20 then that’s nearly £2,500 I’ve saved. I’ve got a funny feeling I will get my chance within the next 3 trading days. Also the constant seller after 3:30pm has gone from the last 2 days trades data so could be time to jump in on next leg down.

Rookie, yes I am, min 5,000 shares. Still hoping for that one blip below £17. I know many want a deal ASAP and yes it will come , just begs the question if it will happen before Christmas because a lot of PR and PA involved along with brokers. I’m sure they have just managed to get day to day running in order with the marathon deal.

Can see a few big red days on the Dow coming up. Also I’m sure this will be tipped as a new year stock to buy.

AA bid $1.2b for siccar assets ..... so that’s about £900m or so.

To get spirit they would need say £1.5b which would be -$1.8b

Big difference with the £ and $ conversions.

Although spirit is debt free and producing great cash flow / profits it would stretch RRE beyond its means.

Great find gamflin. Looks like there’s a few out on the block but spirit might just be out of AAs reach. It’s throwing off amazing cash flow , think there’s gona be bigger players looking to swallow that up. Either way I’m 100% confident that AA will stroke another deal soon. What will it be ? Hmmmmmm

That is a blockbuster find. Spirit would be an absolute monster of a buy and a golden goose. That would create a North Sea monster and would certainly warrant a sp of many multiples. Make of that what you wish. I’m still bloody waiting to buy. Hoping I get lucky tomorrow morning

Strange how the seller pops up after 3pm most days with late flurry sells after 4pm. Also noticed a £300,000 sell today so maybe that caused the push south. £17 is very strong support. I’m looking to get in this week. Let’s see what’s in store for me.

Nothing this side of Christmas I’m afraid. Looks like most of the PR are away on Christmas hols soon and don’t think AA will want his festive preparations Interrupted so soon either. So we have 3 volatile weeks to endure. Sp looking like it will break £17 lower. Hope so. I’m waiting to pounce ....

Sober man. I think it’s general market sell off effecting the sp. yesterday’s ism numbers in u.s showed contraction. I think there’s general negativity with China / trump and now Japan in the mix. Market at highs. Retailers missing targets and companies like ted baker overstating £25m in bottom line lol doesn’t help. I think we could get a couple of nasty sell offs up to Christmas. I’m definitely buying here but the question is what price will I get ? I’m nit gona be greedy and say £15 as I did last time. £16.70 would do it for me. So in theory ... 2 more red days on the sp

Exactly my thoughts. RRE would do better to snap up 5-6 smaller companies and limit the risk, sell off the non core assets or geographical assets not within the North Sea. How many times have we seen companies make a large takeover only to realise a few years down the line that 50% of the value is lost or devalued / written off. Cash is king. I think AA needs to be shrewd here and not rush after the assets.

Just as I thought the sp has started to recover after testing mid 10s last week it’s back here again. I have finally decided NOT to invest. With the latest blow out results this can not sustain a decent rise .... imagine if results were not as good when the sp was high 8s then this world he £4 now. Tooooo much risk here for me to sleep at night. Yes there’s £15-20 if they continue to smash results but the slightest weakness and expect £5 sp. sorry for the pessimism but of one can’t see a shop that’s very fragile then one needs to be warned. Prsm can’t afford to get anything wrong but must get everything right for continued sp rise. Good luck to all of you.

Any idea on when these are due. Should have bought in yesterday but missed the early 17s. Digging deeper I’m really surprised they bid 1.2b for sinc assets. Could they raise more money but at a lower sp ?

Looks like there’s an RNS that will be issued today or tomorrow morning. Company can’t lose 20-30% ofvalue overnight just on bots or general selling. Remember the market always knows more and has first mover advantage. I’m starting to side with Irene krapp here because something is clearly wrong. I hope for you guys who bought higher that it’s not.
