Commenting on Outlook, David Evans, Chairman said: "Trading for the first three months of the year is in line with management expectations and the directors believe that this is a direct result of the market acceptance of the IDS-iSYS and its increasing menu. Q1 has seen revenues grow from £11.5m last year to circa £14.5m, an increase of 26% and in addition to revenue growth we have also accelerated the rate we sell or place our iSYS instruments by more than doubling last year's Q1 number."

Commenting on today's announcement, Laurie Hunter, Chief Executive Officer, said: We are pleased to have recently reported that we have achieved resolution of the dispute on our Tsimiroro Block with the Government of Madagascar and believe that we can now proceed as contemplated at the date of our admission to trading on the AIM market. The Company has recently resumed its planned development work and, with unrestricted cash balances of $59 million, has the funds in place to execute its work programmes and increase value for shareholders. The Company is planning to commence immediately the installation of a steam flood pilot facility at Tsimiroro, which is designed to obtain reservoir performance data and evaluate the potential for a commercial development. With 18 of the 24 wells drilled in 2010 discovering oil, an upgrade in the resource base by independent reservoir engineers NSAI is expected in the near future. Madagascar Oil today announces its full year results for the year ended 31 December, 2010. Disposal of the business and assets of Yacht Fuel Services YCO Group plc, a leading provider of specialist services to superyachts, is pleased to announce that it has agreed to sell the business and assets of its Yacht Fuel Services division (YFS) to World Fuel Services Europe, Ltd. for a total consideration of £1.75 million to be satisfied in cash. The disposal of YFS, which supplies fuel to yachts, forms part of the Group's stated strategy to focus on, and invest in, the development of its core services, namely superyacht brokerage and management. Net proceeds of the sale will be used for working capital purposes to further enhance the Group's offering in these service areas.
