PRODUCTION AND RESERVES · Average daily production reached 9,137 bbl/day in the period from 1 July 2011 to 30 September 2011, an increase of 53% from 5,985 bbl/day during the comparable period in 2010. o During July 2011, the Group achieved average daily production of 8,668 bbl/day, with Exillon TP contributing 3,132 bbl/day, EWS I fields contributing 5,149 bbl/day and EWS II fields contributing 386 bbl/day. During the month the Group reached a peak daily production of 9,164 bbl/day. o During August 2011, the Group achieved average daily production of 8,972 bbl/day, with Exillon TP contributing 3,348 bbl/day, EWS I contributing 5,322 bbl/day and EWS II contributing 302 bbl/day. During the month the Group reached a peak daily production of 9,853 bbl/day. o During September 2011, the Group achieved average daily production of 9,792 bbl/day, with Exillon TP contributing 3,357 bbl/day, EWS I contributing 6,057 bbl/day and EWS II contributing 378 bbl/day. During the month the Group reached a peak daily production of 10,276 bbl/day. · Exillon Energy expects to put Well 76 in Timan Pechora and Wells 18 and 40 in Western Siberia in production this year. · The Group expects to publish a revised reserve report audited by Miller and Lents before the end of the year. Management does not currently expect the increase in this year's reserves audit to be as large as in previous years.

FINANCIAL2 · As at 30 September 2011the Group had a cash balance of US$ 126.9 million and US$ 48.7 million of debt. In addition the Group holds a AAA-rated EBRD Eurobond with nominal value of RUR 410 million and carrying value of US$13.5 million (at 30 September 2011) maturing in February 2012. · US dollars account for approximately 67% of Group's liquid assets (cash and bonds) with the remaining 33% held in Russian Rubles. · Capital expenditure for the period from 1 January to 30 September 2011 was US$ 70.0 million (2010: US$ 26.9 million). Of total capital expenditure, US$ 31.6 million was attributable to drilling, US$ 29.1 million to infrastructure and US$ 6.2 million to seismic data acquisition and interpretation. The infrastructure spend included completion of the oil processing facility, installation of gas power stations, completion of the oil filling station in WS, in-field pipelines and in-field infrastructure. · The average realised crude oil price for combined domestic and export sales during the period 1 July 2011 to 30 September 2011 was approximately US$62.56 per barrel, 19.3% higher than the corresponding period last year when it was US$52.43 per barrel. Panmure Gordon upgrades Fenner from hold to buy, target price raised from 410p to 440p.

Revenues for the year ended 31st July 2011 rose 18% to 2.45 million pounds at bioscience technology firm Avacta Group (AVCT), as it accelerated the penetration of Optim into its target markets. Pre-tax losses narrowed 44.6% to 1.12 million pounds following a significant reduction in operation costs, and a 300,000 pounds non-recurring administrative expense in the previous comparable. Avacta reported it has taken a further eight Optim orders already this year, ahead of target, and the pipeline for the longer term continues to strengthen markedly. Avacta shares added 0.04p to close at 1.06p.

Furniture and interiors group Havelock Europa (HVE) agreed a 20 million pound education framework agreement with Balfour Beatty, which will involve the supply of products and services to 30 schools in southern England. Havelock will lead initial customer engagement, through design and ultimately manufacture or procurement of all school furniture, fittings and associated equipment. The agreement extends Havelock's strategy of investing in the educational supply market. Havelock shares closed 0.875p higher at 13.375p.

A bid looks on the cards for recruitment company Servoca (SVCA), as Groundlinks purchases a further 3.5 million shares in the company, to increase its stake to 9.7 million shares. While is holding only represents 7.77% of the total voting rights, Groundlinks is considered to be included in a concert party comprising of Southwind, Hawk Investment Holdings, Reto Grand, Seraffina Holdings and Groundlinks, which held at 57.51% stake in Servoca as of 20th October. Servoca shares were up 0.5p to 5.5p.

LEF transfers a £5.9 million investment into waste infrastructure fund LEF has exchanged its 65,677 B shares in New Earth Solutions Group Limited ("NESG") in consideration for the issue of an equivalent value of shares in New Earth Recycling & Renewables (Infrastructure) plc ("NERR") at a subscription value of £5,882,689 ("the Transaction"). LEF invested £5.0 million in September 2009 and immediately prior to the Transaction valued the investment at £5,882,689. The Transaction brings LEF closer to the infrastructure by a direct interest in the physical assets of NESG, while maintaining exposure to the upside of NESG and New Earth Energy ("NEE"), via NERR's investment in both companies. NERR is an open-ended fund with a net asset value currently in excess of £80.0 million and registered as a specialist fund with the Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission (Isle of Man Company Number: 123613C), which was created principally to finance the recycling facilities of NESG.

Cineworld (CINE) kept its "buy" rating from Merchant Securities, with a 230p target price. The broker says that the cinema chain's performance for the 42 weeks ended 20th October was in-line with forecasts, with sales growth of 0.9% against last year's results. Merchant believes that the share price does not reflect a strong line up of blockbusters scheduled for release this year and adds that the shares offer a very attractive yield of 6%. Shares in Cineworld grew 5p to 187p.
