Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
@nuri123a - Mate if you have an opinion that is fine but no point holding if you think the share price is going to tank and you don't like the leadership/management. Business go through ups and downs and this quite low for Boohoo but there is definitely upside to this, it may happen soon or it may take 6-12 months, but its going to happen. They are still making money and no debt. The fundamentals prevail.
There is a lot of noise in the system and Boohoo are feeling that in the short term with revised figures, but they are still turning up in sales and profit.
The thing is high transport costs and returns do hurt the business, however this is a temporary issue as they have invested heavily in their US distribution centre and are expediting it, which is going to cut down delivery time and costs. Plus with celebrities onboard in the USA they will generate more cash and profit.
What is happening is a short term issue.
I see that in the new year/ mid-2022 this share price rising to somewhere between 200-300
Boohoo is planning to ‘expedite’ the creation of its first US distribution centre, which will cut down on delivery times and massively reduce transport costs.
@dodge
I have the same question as many will sell around that 10-11p mark, hence why I believe if the sales, marketing etc all stack up and are positive it should break that 11p mark.
I am holding and can see this breaking 11p but CBX need to make the evidence clear.
I can see this going over 25p within the next 12 months, however I am not getting carried away and it is not certain it will.
The evidence of product refinement, logistics, sales numbers and marketing should push this up, but we need to wait for that to arrive I believe.
Is there any more info on what’s driving the SP back up. I get there is a new CEO but is there anything else going on or simply going back to fundamentals/value etc?
Shorting does have an impact. Yes it may or may not impact it. But cannot say it doesn't.
Any positive/negative influence or pressure can influence buys/sells. Sometimes everything defies logic such as Tesla valuation.
No point driving yourself silly with lots of conflicting messages. Relax, take a step back - this is a startup and going through phases. Its never as clean as people think. I am still confident next year Q1 will show signs of a real launch and traction in the market, plus proper marketing.
I still have confidence and have kept all my shares.
I just think if you are going to start something in terms of sales then they should have got behind it and carried through with the momentum in positive way. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
The positive I take out of this soft launch is that it gives them an understanding of how customers view the product, allowing them to refine and launch the real deal in Feb 2022.
At the end of the day you have to step back and look at this and realise this is a startup, therefore the product, financials, sales, share price will not act like a settled company.
Its shows, some of the decisions made over the last few months have been good and others have not. Unfortunately it was a missed opportunity in the way they launched the product. When you have momentum you need to build on it and go after with energy. They just didn't do that. All the positive news resulted in negative output! Felt like bailing out on many occasions and was p***** off they didn't grasp the situation and momentum.
Anyway, that' off my chest. I do still believe the brand and product have potential, its just going to take a while to get there. New CEO should make a positive impact. Q1 2022 will be telling.
I’m in the latter camp and see this as medium/long term value. SP will go up accordingly. Short term Colson’s expected.
My average is 7.5p.
Though I was up about £10k profit on Tuesday, I am in no way tempted to sell. I am waiting for this to hit 25p+ before being tempted.
I think easy 10-20% rise. And then continuous steady rise from there. My original prediction was at least 20p by Xmas. But you never know. If someone like DB get behind it it will go even further!
@Amran
I agree we should circulate to some of our contacts, this will grow naturally.
I also truly believe the potential is huge if certain organisations like football, rugby etc start looking at this as an alternative or supplementary to what they use currently.
Regardless the SP is going north!
Website and product offering look great to me, simple and clear.
Definitely hope the rocket is out tomorrow. Hopefully lots across marketing channels. Maybe if DB presses the launch button this will rocket.
Feel like we are on 10-20% daily to product launch - go with 12p
@dancingqueen
I agree with you some predictions one here are unrealistic. Generally 10-20% gain in a day is huge but some people think this will go up 100’s of % in weeks.
To be honest I have no real idea on where the share price will land by Xmas, but it will be doing well if it reaches 25-40p. In any share price ramp up there will be profit takers also so it’s not a straight up trajectory. Long term yes this can go higher but that depends on sales, profit, competition etc.
It depends on your average as that will drive your sell price. If you average is 7p (mine is as well), I am holding out somewhere around 14-21p.
Then again it depends on how many shares you have as someone with a large pot may be happy with 30% rise and sell.
SMR will simply become a subsidiary of RR Holdings. RR is setup in this way with many subsidiaries already and they never appear to spin off companies into separate entities. I used to work for their Controls & Data Services subsidiary so know they keep everything under the umbrella.
Yeah agree realistic target is around 20p, that’s about 300% increase from today. Hopefully the marketing plan has all the bells and whistles, maybe some celeb/sports endorsements will see it reach higher.
I think taking a step back and looking at the next key steps is the best way to navigate through this. Yes the share price will go up and down, both attracting and scaring investors, which is expected, but remember this is a startup with no product yet.
So guaranteed there is good news coming so we just need to be patient to end of year.
After the first 2 initial product launches there will further launches so short/medium period is expected to be positive. But I agree to what degree this will be positive (i.e. sales, share price etc) is difficult to determine until product launch and sales reports.
Keep holding, be patient
