Yep, also saw the "the company's current intention to distribute free cash from its activities in trinadad " in the prospectus, and take it also does same for morroco (although doesn't say so) but fairly confident of a special dividend in the near future.
Thanks for the advice to look up their prospectus id never have thought of that.....learning all the time.

Is it mandatory for a company to pay a special dividend when it sells a segment of it's o&g discovery?

Hi valparaiso, the way I see it is the A trades you see are computerised, a large amount of small sell trades to get the SP down, and then when it falls a certain amount to make a profit the buyes come in.
I'm by no means an expert on this, more experienced investors on here (knewkob) would explain it far better than myself. Imo.
