How would he fund asset purchases. New Debt? Big loans with poor terms could be worse than issuing new shares.

Until we know the details of the new asset and how the asset would be paid for its hard to analyse. Issuing new shares to buy an asset with high value would not necessarily have a negative effect on the sp. With a market cap of only £8m I don't see dilution as an issue.

This new asset in the Philippines is near to production and could be worth hundreds of £millions. 10p is only £75m, this doesn't equate to that much oil in real terms.

This is a real possibility now IMO. More details needed about this new asset, £7m market cap is looking very cheap though. Pleased for long term holders

Hey Divermike, that's the figure I use as a guide but maybe way off. Oil recovered is worth far more. $10 is for oil in the ground in say the Falklands. If this Philippine asset has recoverable oil then it could be worth 3 or 4 times that IMO.

if this new asset has say 100m barrels that's about what £500-600m We need more details from the BoD's !!

Still looks very cheap. This new asset could be worth many many £m's as it is near to production and would generate income/earnings/profits. Plus Cochran and his pals must have more up his sleeve too. I can easily see WSX hitting £100-200m market cap very quickly. The growth potential is huge IMO.

WSX have ~£2.4m cash. Still looks very cheap to me. Andrew Cochran isn't going to stop at the Philippines asset, which itself must be worth more than £5m. WSX can sell Zaedyus ?

KUMS I get the feeling this is action by Cochran is all to do with UK exploration and exporting gas to Europe. Just a hunch...;o)))....with Russia not playing very nicely.

If you use a simple metric of $10 per barrel. It doesn't take many 000's of barrels to make huge sums. TRP have 500m barrels target which would be worth £3bn. At £6m market cap WSX is looking very cheap to say the least IMO anyway.

you cannot buy without NT. The sp is going to break 1p today and possible 2p very soon IMO.

Current M/C is £6m. I can see this at least trebling in the short term £20m M/C ? Any guesses anyone ??
