Re:Mtruckle - can you update please26 Jan 2018 11:34
Hi all,
First of all, apologies for the delay in posting on here!
The slides obviously tell most of the detail but here are the main points which I also wrote down:
- March 2018 - Drilling should commence
- Tapi Aike - Potentially has 41 plays to extract a potential 22.5 tcf
- Fraction C - 1/3 of it has a 3D seismic - presumably the rest is 2D but I can't confirm (sorry!)
- Fraction D - Apparently 'old into its life' with 23% of the reservoir already being extracted; however, despite other investors telling me an average extraction could be only around 35%, as it has already produced then getting the extra 12% shouldn't be too difficult.
- Bolivia - a 3d seismic was made in the 1990's, this is being re-processed and should be released this summer
- There are 7 wells to drill (not sure which area this is?) into and each should produce $5-$7mn, if even just one comes in then they can drill 5-10 'development wells' around it to try and extract more
Apologies for the vagueness but please ask if you have any other questions or alternatively email me on michaeltruckle1998@gmail.com
Just a couple of quick things:
- Fiona made it clear that Echo are very friendly with the Bolivian Government and they are constantly (supposedly on a weekly basis) talking to them about new opportunities.
- When questioned about political risk, Fiona seemed rather confident due to being partnered with CGC and so it wans't a worry.
As for the Argentinian deal, the 29th and the deal wasn't really mentioned (as far as I'm aware), so let's hope its all still on. Please feel free to add to what I have said, correct me on anything or ask any questions!
