The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
How about on the back of the 10,000 Facebook members that have had their accounts closed down with no explanation given, and who will be putting in 'subject access requests' ? Possibly followed by lawsuits. She has questions to answer for her behaviour. They can easily find someone else to give the £5 million a year to, and no doubt some of them are already sharpening their knives.
More shenanigans from Alison Rose and NatWest - closed someone's account with £12,000 in it then hung on to the money, who does Rose think she is? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU2kO22lD-s
True, it is about banks in general, but the one that has hit the headlines is Coutts/Natwest. Having been found out they have now apologized for their ridiculous and sinister behaviour, but that is far from enough, and what about the 10,000 Facebook members who have formed a group and will now be putting in subject access requests to Natwest. The way they have treated NF has merely shone a light on a can of worms which they will find very difficult to sweep under their collective carpets.
Looks like I was right about the garden centre!
"After the archives tour at Coutts Headquarters in London, the finalists enjoyed lunch and conversation on the importance of diversity in the workplace in the sunshine on the eco-sustainable rooftop garden, home to 80,000 honeybees."

Phantom - I suspect she will be, or moved sideways to a cushy job somewhere. Coutts needs to be investigated too - Camilla Stowell, would be better off in charge of the Philosophy department of a garden centre.
From the Telegraph :- 'NatWest has put a focus on climate change and diversity in recent years. But Coutts, founded in 1692, has gone further than its parent company in its efforts to go green, spending two years transforming itself into a B Corp.
It was awarded the title after a US-based organisation that hands out certificates for social and environmental impact said it was using “business as a force for good” and balancing profit and purpose.
Ms Stowell said this initiative was “fundamental to our core” and “we are focused on climate, we are focused on enterprise and we are focused on learning”.
“Everything we do links back to that purpose,” she added.

Natwest is in serious trouble if this is the sort of people at the top.
Yes, and they will no doubt all be demanding 'subject access requests' to see just what the bank has beensaying about them. I foresee lawsuits. Liam Halligan actually mentioned an "existential crisis" for Natwest, interesting times
What a lot of drivel on this board. The CEO of Natwest Allison Rose has just apologized to Farage for "deeply inappropriate comments" they made about him. Time for her to go work in Saudia Arabia along with all the woke footballers. Jon Sopel has also apologized. It was never anything to do with how rich or not NF is.
Using your logic, I would say I care about cheap shares. Wickes is now headed back to its all time low of 110p, it will be interesting to see if it bounces from there, or if it just carries merrily on its way down to the bargain basement. I suspect the latter, given that they have voluntarily painted themselves into a corner, which is not a sign of intelligent management.
It is whether the "bigots", i.e. customers, are OK with giving their money to a business that lectures them, insults them and then tells them they are not welcome in their shops that is the real story. Perhaps they should put up a sign à la Basil Fawlty - "No riff-raff".
Wow. I just saw what the COO said, basically "bigots" i.e. most of the country, according to him, are "not welcome in our stores". Hahahahaha. How many customers does that leave him? The guy probably thought he was just talking to his mates and matesses, and no-one was listening! Well he just made it to the TV. Will it make the weekend press I wonder and am I too late to short this pile of poo?
It seems that Mr Thornton disappeared from the 'Team' some time between December 2022 and February 2023 - I hope the links work.

Surely that should have merited a RNS ?
4th February 2023 re. Bonnier / Eliot and Luther / Hogarth
"Mr Bonnier has strongly denied the allegations of fraud in court documents, and claimed Candy has 'mischaracterised' their pre-contractual negotiations.
His adviser, Joel Hogarth of Eliot & Luther, said: 'Nobody ever believed that there was a promise that Apple and LVMH would invest. There was talk about Apple and LVMH but that was a long way short of a contractual promise. It was an aspiration, not a promise.'"

Someone nicked all the 'd's from the Audioboom keyboard.
"Avertising eman began to reboun in the secon half of Q3, an that tren is continuing into Q4, with avertising bookings of more than US73 million in place for 2022 - 21% more than the entirety of last year's revenue. We are confient of a positive en to the year".
Maybe it's a coe?
Very strange that there are numerous typos in the MakingCash3 post on the other board (which was posted after posting on here apparently), but not in KS's post on this board. One for Sherlock methinks.
