...refrain from baiting the troll. The board is filling up with filtered messages again. ;-)
Thank you.
Mr T
I agree Groover. Madge was bang out of order there.
And Jim. Every investment is to a greater or lesser extent a "gamble". If the security of your capital was a sure thing the only possible return would be the same as the underside of your mattress.
It has been a great week Zoro. An absolutely incredible week. An unprecedented week for me personally. I am trying to focus my brain on the overall journey rather than the last couple of days! Sadly my brain tends to focus on the negatives e.g. that I didn't skim any off at 16p for comfort. I have a lot at stake here. A modest holding to most, but a lot to my family so I am beating myself up for it. C'est La Vie. I know there is enough potential in VLS to get us to the moon. I have been in the share for years. I only recently faced a 90% paper loss before averaging down as much as I could afford before the rises. I've had a few ciders now to mellow out. :-)
Best,
Mr T
Sorry...BA and Shell (Not BP! Although it would be amusing if they had been buying up shares in VLS over Shell's head...). :-)
My sense is that over the past couple of days the SP has consolidated firmly around this level, and will see another re-rate over the course of the week. Anybody else care to share their thoughts? :-)
Best,
Mr T
P.S. Can we wheel Grant Shapps out again over the weekend again too please? Also, when are BP and Shell going to get some stuff out in the press on this?!
I meant for there to be the word "frenzy" before "around" in that message...
After the around 11-12p earlier where private investors were getting mugged by MMs to top-up institutional investors, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a TR1 drop.
I am super reassured by the support floor ~12p.
I have to say, I am more optimistic about where we will end up today. Perhaps naively, especially if Mr Myrtle reckons 15p is about as good as its going to get... ;-)
Totally agree with you! Patience and nerve.
Your handle says it all.... ;-)
Like me, are you expecting this to surge back into the blue shortly once they MMs have mopped up all they can? I'm hoping it will kick on well into the blue thereafter as we go through the day due to Friday FOMO! :-)
GLA!
Mr T
Hopefully enough to smash some of MyrtleMan's targets ahead of the weekend! :-D
...and who is giving them their shares god damnit! :-/
Can we smell lava?! Krakatoa?!.... :-D
No surprises. Exciting Outlook. And a neat reminder that Altalto isn't the only show in town for Velocys! :-)
One which will push us higher whitto?
...for tomorrow ladies and gents? Always fun... :-)
Best,
Mr T
18p please! ;-)
Thanks whitto. I just hoped the retrace would come after another nice day of gains during which 18p was taken out. Call me a dreamer...now a slightly more nervous dreamer! ;-)
Sorry to have a "me me me" moment...but today has been such a disappointment for me. I have a target of 18p to top slice before leaving two thirds of my holding for the long term. My average is ~6p, so essentially it leaves all my profit for a free ride. I thought we would see 18p today so that I could then relax somewhat and diversify into other opportunities.
Feeling at a bit of a loss at the moment....I know, I know...be patient. I am just a little stressed having thrown a lot in here to average down a 90% paper loss (long term holder here!). Anyway, back to patience...I am holding firm I hoping that I will get to my place of safety soon...come on 18p!!!!
Best, and GLA!
Mr T
Thank you Donatron and Sean. Fascinating insights as always. :-)
Pardon the pun, but what time is our take-off slot today? I've got stuff to do, but can't take my eye of the SP all the while it is hovering around yesterday's close price... :-/
