628kg arrived Monday night at Cairo Airport from Al-Sukary.

Sorry for not posting this last night as I was waiting to check whether this shipment gets counted in Q4 or Q1.

Apparently any production up to the 5th of any month gets counted with the production of the month before, so anything up to the 5th Jan gets counted with Dec production figures (i.e Q4), and also according to this, the shipment on 3rd Oct 2017 belongs to Q3, so Q4 shipments so far:

I had a good chat with someone and all sounded very good: achieving target this year, higher production figures next year, 100% confidence in winning the court case regardless of how long it takes which is annoying, the recent long-term agreement with Centamin to buy gold from the international market is being received very well by everyone in Egypt and is making the government look good, so the government is happy with Centamin, Centamin pays for the gold Egypt needs in US dollars and Egypt pays Centamin in Egyptian pounds which would increase Egypt's gold reserve, which has not happened for a long time, without affecting Egypt's US dollar reserve.

The ounces or kilos we are counting bears no resemblance to what is being produced at Sukari. this is audited by both Centamin and the Egyptian government.

There is some silver in there as well.

What is shipped is Dore and not pure-gold - At best we can only expect 90% conversion depending on ore grade..

whichever way people voted in the EU referendum it was more about the fact that people are fed up with the political system and politicians and they saw the referendum as a way of making a protest!

Farage deceived and misled people with biased and inaccurate information!

Cameron was arrogant and assumed people could be easily panicked into voting the way he wanted!

The people want real change because they have lost faith in the present unfit for purpose system!

Hi Zambianminer, what we really need in the UK is proportional representation then we stand a chance of changing things, but as yet neither the Tories or Labour support it!
I don't know if you realise it but the Tories are at present craftily moving ward boundaries to make sure they win more seats in the next election.

The big banks are once again being protected against the feeling the consequences of the mess they are creating once again!

Who will pay , the ordinary people and the bankers will continue fill their pockets!

Ten days ago, Federal Reserve officials called Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) and Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) executives and offered to give the banks a "conditional non-objection" grade and avoid failing the annual bank stress tests if the two banks kept capital returns to shareholders at recent levels, according to The Wall Street Journal. Other banks in the past have been able to keep payouts steady after failing the quantitative part of the stress test, but in this case Goldman and Morgan Stanley got the same result but didn't officially get a failing grade. It's a clear sign of the shift in the regulatory environment for banks, which had been expecting a more pro-business approach from Washington since Donald Trump was elected president.

Centamin won't be able to release anything officially at this stage because it may be construed as trying to influence the market!

You can imagine if production is doing nothing extra special what field day the shorter's would have!

But then of course the shorter's could get their pant's taken down and their bums slapped with a golden flip flop!

So who will be right, short or long?

Firstly the leave campaign only won by a tiny majority and to be fair those that voted for Brexit didn't have all the true facts on which to make their decision,but instead were taken in by Farage's inaccurate propaganda which was hardly unbiased but certainly not the truth.

As to the housing problem we can blame that old crone Thatcher for that, she peddled the idea that council's were wasteful and that social housing was for the lazy and that everyone needed to aspire to owning their own home.
On the continent people aren't obsessed with owning a house and quite happily live in affordable well maintained rented property, what's wrong with that?
I can remember when Thatcher forced our council to sell well well constructed high quality well maintained social housing at a 40% discount to tenants many of whom sold it four years or so later at a huge profit, choosing to forget that other people needing good quality social housing were now denied it.
Thatchers government also slashed the amount of money council's got from central government and instead kept our taxes to spend in the capital and surrounding area's, a policy that has continued to this day.
Also Thatcher brought legislation making it illegal for councils to acquire capital assets, that included everything from property to office photo copiers, everything had to be leased which is far more expensive for councils in the long term.
In the UK Thatcher sold the people what already belonged to them (the public utilities, public transport social housing,core local services etc.)saying it would all be far cheaper in the future and better for everyone.
So people like Sid bought shares, then didn't really understand what is was all bout and got persuaded to sell them for a small profit by the city wide boys who went on to make the real money!
There isn't one of those services today that is better quality, more affordable or better in any way,the ordinary people were conned and the city got fat!
What has the EU done for the UK , quite a lot really, in the north many run down area's and under privileged area's as a result of Thatchers's legacy have been invigorated and revived with EU funding, area's in Cornwall have received funding for internet connections,public transport, tourism and other infrastructure projects
In Ireland run down road systems have been replaced using EU funding and are now some of the best roads in Europe, but herein mainland UK we could enjoying investment in lot's more of our public infrastructure and community projects if our government were to apply for the EU funding , but they won't because they fear it will give the EU some control over Westminster or it woud be seen as some sort of weakness on the part of the UK government.

There is nothing wrong with being in a club that has helped keep peace and stability in Europe for over sixty years and improved the living standards ,freedoms of the ordinary people..
The UK was never so great as people like to imagine, I remember when travelling across Europe was time consuming and inconvenient , why would anybody want those times back?
The EU isn't perfect, but it has brought many benefits and it's courts have upheld previously won freedoms and rights of the ordinary people that the Tories would like to take away!
We have just been to Verona in Italy, what a beautiful clean city with excellent affordable public services, really friendly people ,excellent service in the restaurants,bars ,hotels, really cheap excellent public transport,free sparkling drinking water fountains, beautiful parks and spotless public toilets.
Much cheaper to eat out there with far cheaper and better quality food.beer,wine and cigarettes than in the UK.
My wife had to visit a GP whilst we were in Italy, she got an appointment the following morning and the free treatment straight away, no waiting for three weeks or more as in the UK.!
What a a shock when we returned to the UK,in comparison it seems so run down in so many ways, overpriced and infrequent public transport , poor quality overpriced food and drink in so many pubs and restaurants, filthy streets littered with rubbish and stinking of stale urine, run down parks and open spaces to name just a few of the reasons why the UK is becoming a an armpit of the world!

Brexit: EU says no hope of securing UK's withdrawal deal by October.
Those that voted for Brexit didn't understand what they were voting for because they listened to the rubbish spouted by Farage.
Farage claimed that the EU was taking away the UK's right to decide its own laws and legislation, rubbish, the UK parliament actually made the EIU laws they chose to adopt more complicated than they were intended (one example was the movement of livestock).
Consumers of electrical goods in the EU are entitled to a two year minimum guarantee and many companies including Lidl and Aldi offer 3 years warranties.
Mobile phone telephone roaming charges in the EU are capped at the present. If the UK leaves the EU.
These are just a small example of advantages we enjoy at present that could be lost!
But more importantly what of the billions of pounds worth of lost investment, the lost jobs, the lost exports and the lost opportunities for our young people, Farage didn't tell the truth on any of those issues either!
The UK'S MEP's could oppose anything they didn’t like and our parliament's MP's could have been more active through their MEP's if they could have been bothered, but they couldn't, they just sat back taking their expenses and then blamed the EU for anything their constituents didn't like.
The EU parliament is there for us all to use, but most people can't even be bothered to write a letter to their local councillor!
Whenever I have written to my MEP They have always responded and dealt with my issue efficiently and quickly, which is more than can be said for some of the free loaders in our UK parliament and our local councils!
If Farage doesn't approve or believe in the EU why is he an MEP quite happily drawing all the allowances?
Cameron only had the referendum because he was worried about UKIP winning seats, but in reality without proportional representation UKIP could never be a threat.
Farage never explained to people the implications of losing all the trade agreements from within the EU market place or the other 25 the UK enjoys with other countries outside of the EU as part of the EU membership package, these will have to be renegotiated as well if the UK leaves the EU.
May should stop digging the hole she is in any deeper and just declare that in the best interest of the UK we are remaining an EU member.
Forget leaving the EU and kick out Farage, he is the real free loader taking his MEP's salary and not doing the job!

The present market and monetary systems are unfit for purpose (i.e. serving everyone fairly)

But changes are coming!

Those trading paper promises will have to start backing them up with more than spoof and innuendo!

I am impressed with Alexandra's professional qualification's and from her past employment experience she must have built up a good understanding of the demands and expectations of both the company and client.
However the type of role she plays within Centamin or in any organisation often involves walking a very tight line in order to adhere to corporate policy whilst attempting to serve the best interests,needs and expectations of all of those involved
For instance in our a situation the management have failed in their professional responsibility to both the company and to the share holders!
Quite a difficult situation for anyone in her position.
Like every other share holder though I would like some answers!

More trade tensions are in the making on reports that Justin Trudeau will mark Canada's 151st birthday on Sunday by imposing tariffs on about C$19.4B worth of U.S. imports and providing aid to trade hit industries. The proposed tariffs will target metals, whiskies, mustard, toilet paper, washing machines, motorboats and maple syrup, in response to the American levies on Canadian steel and aluminium that went into effect a month ago.

They are tight lipped at the moment , although to be fair after the monumental oversight regarding he LHDR and the way that the share price has been spanked then I suppose to disclose anything now may be regarded as tying to influence the market.

So if the management have taken some decisive action and put in extra teams or extra specialist kit then we may get a nice surprise!

Alternatively of course if the underground production is still reduced or only at previous levels then more share price spanking all round!

But as we have been told the directors responsible for the monumental mess up in production remain committed and invested, but then wouldn't we if we were were on the top table of the Centamin gravy train?

So just like in Charles Dickens's novel "Oliver Twist" we will be fed on gruel and sometimes thrown a few extra scraps from the tap table (that is free cash flow after all deductions & the special divi) whilst on the top table Mr Bumble and his fellow directors gorge themselves on lot's of free shares and lovely fat salaries!

Mr Bumble and his fellow fellow directors think that the naughty children (Us)should be seen but not heard and be grateful for their gruel & scraps and tell the parish council (That's the markets & analysts).how generously we are treated!

One day though the desperately hungry boys(Us) fed up with being told they would be given even less gruel (RNS reduced guidance & Divi)and no good news (court case & L32) decide to draw lots; the loser must ask for another portion of gruel (bigger return on their investment and some answers) the task falls to Oliver (Tibbles),

Oliver (Tibbles) who at the next meal went forward trembling bowl in hand (email contacts IR & PR) and begs Mr Bumble (IR Centamin & PR Buchanon ) for more with his famous request: "Please, sir, I want some more".) what was the real reason for the production downgrade RNS , what about future production and all the other outstanding issues that investors would like action on?)

Oliver (Tibbles) must have upset Mr Bumble and the board by asking for more and so now his requests go unneeded and it seems the that Oliver (Tibbs) and the naughty ungrateful children may be be seen, but certainly not heard (ie not answering investors email questions and cutting them off on telephone conference calls)

Will the story have a happy or sad ending , I wonder?

I have been trying to get confirmation from Investor Relations & Buchanon PR about a several of the issues that people on here have especially concerning if production is restored to previous levels or has it been stepped up!

Sadly, no answers from either!

I think we may have upset them by being honest about our feelings!

But then the management have turned out to be a great disappointment, in fact some of them should be sent down the road after recent events!

The Centamin management seem to be treating us like mushrooms at the present!
