Who is gong to trust the management after
Josef sold 10 million shares at a handsome profit n 2017 then took a back seat.
Andrew Pardey & Youssef El Raghy promised 560.000 oz for the coming year in QI 2018 and then only three weeks later issued the first of three guidance cuts due to hitting ex-expected low translational grades in the open pit, these were so unexpected that they were pointed out in 2015 by Kees Dekker but the management denied his conclusions and broke of dialogue with him.
There are eight geologists working at Sukari, yet these transitional grade problems were unexpected?
Centamin stated in 2018 that production teams were ahead of schedule in getting through the low transitional grades and that output would be restored in Q4 2018.
Yet in fact here we are in Q! 2019 and there is no evidence of any improvement in grades or output.
It is apparent now just how much the total output of Sukari depended on the sole LHDR that due to managements failings was allowed be run to a standstill bringing underground production to a standstill.
Although late in 2018 an additional underground LHDR was purchased it has now been revealed that there is only one limited access to the underground workings and there are also some low transitional grade problems to deal with.
The Cleopatra slope supposedly promises,much but in reality delivers little in the way of gold as yet due to ongoing problems, although it provides lots of work for the tucks moving muck!
Law 32 is in limbo because the commissioners can't be asked to make a decision any time soon.
The court case of over 8 years based we are told on inaccuracies, lies and innuendo remains in limbo because of no decision on Law 32 being on hold, although more likely because none of the judiciary are willing to stick their head above the parapet and make a ruling!
Centamin have spent millions having lots of holes drilled in West Africa although as investors we have no idea if this will be of any benefit to Centamins profits, although it has provided lots of work for Capital Drilling!
Mark Morcombe has bailed out for whatever reason and Josef has returned?
So still wonder why the share price keeps dropping?

Our management are hopeless, they haven't got a clue when it comes to investor relations , if they had then they would have gone out of their way this morning to promote some good news about Centamin.
An upbeat statement from Josef perhaps?
Some news on how the additional LHDR is helping to improve output perhaps ?
So no improvement in sorting the problems at Sukari then?
No news on Law 32 or the court case?
What of this new legislation in Egypt to make it more attractive to foreign investors?
Or perhaps instead we must all be patient for another decade?

i shall be sending this link to Bobby Morse of Buchanan & Centamin Investor Relations in case they are unaware of it.
I shall also asking when the manegment are going to start telling investors if and when they can expect some improvement.in guidance soon.
Patience indeed, they need a kick up the rear end with a steel toed flip flop!

Anyone who has their Centamin shares held in a Nominee account that wishes to vote at the AGM can do so by contacting the bank or broker who holds their shares and asking if they can be sent the AGM details and voting papers.
The bank or broker will then contact the company registrar and the relevant papers will be sent to the nominee account holders address, this is all usually free of charge.
I shall certainly be voting !

I spoke to HSBC today and explained that Centamin are not answering investors emails and they suggested that I should ring Centamins investor relations and ask why emails arent being answered.

I also found out that if anyone with a nominee share account wants to ask a question at the AGM then it is just a case of asking whoever your nominee account is with to get your name put on the list to attend the meeting (takes about 5 days)
Bit awkward when the meeting is in Jersey though, wonder why its not at the Buchanon office in London?

The other alternative is to hold some of your nominee shares in a certificate form which costs £15 with HSBC and then your name appears in the company registrars list

I nearly invested in them, wished I had now!
Nobody believes the Centamin manegment any more!
For over a decade we have been told be patient, the court case will soon be over the good times are coming, but it never happens, although Josef got some good times and then took a back seat!

Please tell this chap who writes "worth reading reports w/o pre judgement” that the numbers he quoted are from a report postdating my analysis.

He should read my analysis reports a bit better I would say.

Moreover, if he would do his sums, he would calculate an average mined grade of 0,60 g/t, which is way, way lower than the 1.071 g/t Au they had planned to mine in 2018. It is even lower than the guidance for the 2018 year, which had been dramatically dropped without the company providing clarification on this.

The large deviation from plan started happening when they started mining Phase 4. I do not know why your contact gets comfort from the ore body narrowing as if management did not know this when making their plans. It anyway does not make sense as a narrowing ore body implies a rising strip ratio and not the opposite.

It helps to read reports properly before making nasty comments.

Thank you for your thoughts and for your advice, it seems so long ago that we were all encouraging one another to stay strong because of unrest in the streets, political upheaval or because the courts had suspended Cenamins licence due to the accusations of a renegade politician with a gripe against EMRA.

There were some all those years back that panicked and sold out, some who made a packet out of shorting Cenrtamin, but many remained strong, not only because we had faith in the integrity and the ability of the Centamin management but also because we supported one another and had a valuable insight into the real situation in Egypt through you our most trusted friend Siko.

Sadly though after last years events some of us feel that we have been taken for granted and our trust in the Centamin management and their abilities may have been misplaced.
So what are the management doing to restore the production at Sukari and the share holders faith and trust in them?

Once again thank you for your support and help to us all in the past and I hope that you have a safe,successful and enjoyable trip to Egypt.

Blackrock making money lending out shares to some stinker who wants to go short on Centamin?

Retail investors should be very wary before getting involved in shorting stocks, the CFD brokers make it sound so easy, because they make all the money with no risk whilst their client takes all the risk whether they win or lose!

I once knew a chap who lost his house due to taking a second mortgage to fund his CFD trading and several others who completely wiped out their portfolios over several weeks.

See response from Kees Dekker on the points raised on here,, I think Bardil commented in the past that Mr Pardey & his team don't seem to have a handle on grade control

Nobody is addressing what the reason is for the difference between plan and actuals.
My review points to Centamin mining in the open pit a lot less waste and a lot more ore than planned at the expense of much lower ore grade.
This points to them not having a handle on resources and/or grade control.
This development is not a flash in the pan as there is a consistent trend over the years deviating from plan.

I agree with you entirely Rebess,

Long term investors have put a lot of skin into this firm and been patient for over a decade and yet now seem to be treated with disdain!

This is why I am so angry , I accept that gold mining is a difficult process and unforeseen problems can occur, I also accept that as Tornatony pointed out on tiii they have a large team of geologists who can't all get it wrong at the same time, or words to that effect.

Some new names have popped up on here recently and on other forums having a poke at those that express displeasure with the managements behaviour over the past year or so, some some of these posters may be genuine, but some of them aren't the investors they claim to be!

In my opinion, the best line ever written and sums up my feelings about what the management have told investors!
