It's hard to believe that he didn't know or suspect what Pardey and other were about.
But considering the nepotism that was prevalent in Centanin it may be that he had to bide his time before taking action (Ie order of the boot to the guilty parties ).

Agreed Mr Bond, in the voting at the AGM it's the institutions that hold all the voting clout, far more than us private share holders.
Also agree, questionable benefit as yet to share holders from the the millions spent on drilling, although it was a nice title earner for the drilling contractor's.

I thought my post made it clear that I support Cowichan, yourself and other share holders frustrations,as we are aware under Andrew Pardey 's tenure as CEO of Centamin there were many short comings in addition to professional ineptitude, such as the appalling lack of honest and open communication with share holders, possibly even deliberate deceit of the board in Jersey on some issues.
Considering this it surely wouldn't be unreasonable to suspect that during this time there was also a policy of censorship or control of information that could be released via Centamin IR and the company PR representatives?
One can only suspect the number of skeletons in the cupboard and muck brushed under the carpet that Martin Horgan has discovered and is now trying to sort out, although we can also be pretty certain that he is all too aware that the company really is in the "Last Chance Saloon"!
So lets see what is revealed in May!

As share holder I would like some updated news on all these projects .
That said everyone has a different interpretation of disclosure and what we think as reasonable in reality may be unrealistic and dependent on company remit or regulatory body compliance.
That is of course is no consultation to us share holders, but yesterday I heard from a well informed source that they felt confident that the West African strategy will be finally be revealed in May, so hopefully not too much longer for share holders to wait to clear up a number of issues quite quickly.

WorldQuant what an odious parasitical pile of puss if ever there was one,can't understand how anyone could work for such an organization, even worse pension funds are probably lending them shares to go short with on some of the very companies that they hold pensions for.
Shorting should be declared illegal it is a vile practice and the excuse that I am only a trader trying to make a living is a lame one, if anyone wants to trade then they should buy and sell the shares, or deal in used cars, or get a market stall and buy and sell potatoes or socks!
But there is no excuse to be a shorter !

Thank you for the explanation, now thinking about it I can understand the reasoning, if a mining company were to pay for the services of an analyst then whatever the findings or conclusions of any report published they could be open to accusations of being influenced in some way, not being a true account, or not being wholly impartial.
It was entirely my assumption that Kees would expect some payment for his work, or his time as he is very busy at present on projects for I assumed paying clients?
Although I have my suspicions about the impartiality of James of RBC the analyst who seemed so biased in favour of the Endeavour bid for Centamin.

I agree , but to be fair Kees contacted Pardey several times to ask for the correct correct information and offered to submit a revised article based around that, Pardeey instead just broke off the ideologue and complained to the editor of Seeking Alpha about Kees.
Kees is now doing regular consultancy work for other miners s on several big projects so would need the time and obviously want some payment to visit Sukari, would be fantastic if that could happen!
You may recall that the look into the "Guts" or underground workings of Sukari during the Capital Markets presentation last December never took place as promised ?
I agree with you just what were the analysts that visited Sukari looking at or shown , we don't know how stage managed these visits were, I also take you points about the analysts conference call question sessions, all pretty much the same really.

It has and it will, unfortunately the MM keep chopping its legs off below the knee at present!
If you can stay strong things should improve quite a lot as we progress through 2021 and even more so through 2022 .
At least you bought in at a bargain price!
