It's always worth considering that on the vast majority of internet forums and even on social media that anyone can become, or claim to be whomever they desire!
Exactly the same applies to claims of market trading prowess and success, you have been around the block often enough to recognise the fact from wishful thinking and those who are so desperate to appear to be more successful, or superior to others!
Certainly just being invested in Centamin for over a decade is enough to make anyone who is being honest cynical!

One of biggest problems to overcome and one which is out of Centamin's and indeed us mere retails shareholders to overcome is the manipulation and suppression of the price of precious metals.
Despite the US having a record and unpayable national debt Wall Street has decided that the dollar is king and getting ever stronger and although if anyone is honest they know that this is a lie, it simply does'nt matter, because the FED and the cartel control all the levers and they ain't going to allow the truth or sensibility to prevail and stop their lucrative scam!

I have little faith in most analysts and even less in the brokers ratings, many of the former have never visited or been involved in running a mine and although some have visited Sukari in the past how many of them questioned the bad mining practice or the inadequate waste clearance?
As to the former, the brokers they are even worse and seems to be even less knowledgable about mining, but then they don't really care a jot as long as they can encourage the share trading!

Absolutely agree, something I have expressed in writing several times now!
For their past performance they ought to be paying money back into the coffers, they are in the main a bunch of wastrels who have taken us for granted, or fools!

For the past decade share holders have been given the same old promises of good times coming and now nobody believes them any more,!

Possibly Centamin will be using the past decade at Sukari as an example what happens when the senior management fail to put in place the appropriate and fit for purpose waste ore disposal methods,
Or how for over a decade to deny the truth and instead and feed regular doses of baloney and pie in the sky guidance predictions to share holders to keep them on the hook ,instead of honest,accurate and promised updates!
Possibly also a tutorial on how when a crack in the pit wall exposes the Sukari sham how to deny all knowledge of what was going for a decade and claim its time for a turnaround and then award the BOD lots of bonus shares despite delivering nothing then more promises of good times coming!

I can assume you don't know Andrew, he walked out of of a highly paid senior city position p because his personal ethical beliefs were in conflict with what he was expected to do and the detrimental effects such trading and price manipulations caused to the worlds poor people who are dependant for their living on working in mining.
Several very senior US regulators have supported him and in each case they had pressure put from on them and were retired, or moved to positions where they were no longer a threat to the market manipulation.

Great to hear from you, hope you are still taking your "Tots".
After being in Centamin for over a decade it would be hard to disagree with your comments and your summing up, Sukari certainly seems to have been a "Pyramid" scheme that took advantage of investors faith, trust and indeed tolerance!
Had the management not been forced by the inevitable crack in the gloss to expose the years of deliberate sharp practice in the way Sukari was being managed and mined then most likely the "Pyramid scheme" would have continued for a few more years!
Even now all we have is yet more promises of "Good times coming", but as yet there no proof and yet the bonus awards to directors seem to continue whatever!!
Investing in Centamin in my experience has been akin to playing a one armed bandit!
