Bonkers, your probably right enough, who knows it's a guessing game whatever anyone says. As for it being covered on here a few times, we'll that's once more now and I'm sure it will be mentioned at least once more again as it is relevant whether its false or not. I agree though, mooky all the way! Never answered my initial question though, jangho aside is there a minimum percentage holding required before trying a takeover?
So, if i'm reading things correctly (very possibly i'm not) Bank of America accumulated almost 6% (for someone?), Jangho is sitting at 13.79%, MM's seem to be trying to fill an order this week.....In theory what percentage is required before making a bid for a takeover? Just some Friday musing really.
Two weeks ago you said yourself Number this would be at £1.20 by the end of the week, what changed your mind in so short a time? Just curious. Either way, we're all in it for the medium/long run, lets hope we all make some more money.
I'm of the same mind as you Robin, definitely manipulation going on here and even if there's not I find it frustrating we're not a bit higher. Not so long ago we were up to 124 all but briefly and now we're being held around £1 even after a successful opening in our key market and generally good news with vaccine/lenders/attitude of customers returning to cinema. I'm also in a decent profit and have no intention of selling, just annoying. We're all here for 1 reason.
Thanks Crumpets, found it quite informative and liked the way it was written.
Well, that wasn't the RNS I was expecting, BOA back in....
Good fun read here regarding stop losses if anyone wants it;

Ha, you're right, I'm from Aberdeen and thought the same!
Does indeed
Had some mint Viscount biscuits last night, just a taste of the luxury I'm looking forward too. Just saying, sorry for starting a new thread : D
We hit 124p 2 weeks ago, closed, before results were announced that everyone knew would be a sore one, with no opening RNS. Now we are commencing a staggered opening of 75% of our business as of Friday with millions more people vaccinated than 2 weeks ago. Hold or buy (my opinion only) DYOR
Here's a list of opening dates for Regal in the US for anyone that wants a look;

Perfect opportunity to double my holding and bring my average down if it does.
Not a bad article just released; https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/23/business/regal-cinemas-cineworld-reopening.html
This is just laughable, there is NO reason other than market manipulation or shorts closing for this to be happening, we've been trending up nicely for months, our core market region is opening next week with a Warner bros collaboration, vaccinations both there and here are world leading, we've been up to 125 a share CLOSED WHILE LOSING MONEY and now we're opening to a world full of people wanting to just get out anywhere and being told they aren't allowed to travel abroad so they are here with spare time, bored kids and a huge slate of top movies waiting to be released. Any investor who is surprised that the business hasn't generated any revenue while being shut need their heads examined so if that's not built into the current share price by all the major investors I'll be surprised. Averaging 70p a share with enough to buy my AMG Sitting in the pot but I ain't going nowhere. HOLDHOLDHOLD, dyor and think logically.
Heart skipped a beat when I seen an RNS! Not the one we're waiting for though.
124.81 on T212, COME ON CINE, YOU CAN DO IT!!
Encouraging article here regarding pulling forward of various movies. Waiting for funds to transfer then taking advantage of this dip tomorrow am for a top up. Sleeping giant indeed.

Thedoghouser, it was a rhetorical statement meant to illicit a but of amusement, but thank you for your advice must start paying more attention to understanding how to invest and track the market : )
