I dont think they will try amd flood the market intentionally. I think that was more tactically done to wipe out shale competition. They might turn the taps on to control the price so it doesnt get out of hand too much but why turn them on to drop the price and pump extra oil for nothing. Who knows! As long as that oil price stays at these levels or higher I am happier, Personally i believe this is just the begining even if they do pump more i still think it will climb as more and more countries open up

Quick reversal spike down in oil probably to do with saudi reversing cuts soon. Hopefully demand will out grow this additional supply!

The share price wont just re-rate in a few days though. It takes time as the oil proce could drop off. Im no downgrader, i am long all the way but sometimes you have got to think reality. Hopefully it stays higher than 55 dollars for the next few months! (Or higher!)

I know they are two completely separate companies but look at the similarity between them over the last few hours. Il eat my pants if this goes back up to break even in the next 30mins

I am debating selling, can anybody please help me i understand this rights issue and explain my options i would really appreciate it. I have done some research but it is still hard to understand. I am a long term holder and though i would sit on these for a few years and didnt expect this.

I bought £6k shares at £2.87.

Option 1: buy the rights?? How much would this cost me if i did it in full?
Option 2: sell now and get out? Potentially buy in after the rights issue so i have not had to put any more money in
Option 3: what the hell does sell you nil rights mean???
