You say that i have just bought! Im selling again at 57.5! Can be a risky strategy if there is a steep bounce but im fed ip of watching all the swings so i started a different strategy this year. Diversified my pot in to trade and long term due to everything happening in the world. Good luck everyone

Seems to be hitting the resistance line since wall street opened. Hopefully it doesnt drop off before tomorrow for the next move to 60.5p hopefully.

All the best if it does but this is tullow, it has a mind of its own. I am waiting patiently for a buy in before results so would like a drop but i do have a long term holding in here sat in the background. Good luck

Oil not pip haha

Me too, i prefer them to sort themselves out and Rahul is doing the right job. Yes he has locked in a lot of hedges but thats for security and the banks would of like to have seen that too. This time next year if pip stays where it is and we get an update of some much better hedges then the share price will move accordingly. I believe there wont be a take over because Rahul has not been in charge too long but you never know and these share price movements are odd. I have been in here a long time and seen some big movements and strange ones but this last month has been real odd.

Does anyone else suspect a potential take over with all the funny share swings and volatility?

I agree, the management seem very keen on getting the debt down. Good news for us. Another 20points and oil will be at mid 2018 levels! Fly to the sky! Tullow hasnt moved much in comparison but onces the oil proce settles it will re rate with a huge spike in my opinion.

I wouldnt worry, this happens once a week. Quite laughable now hence why i started a spreadbet to swing trade. Although i am long term long! This is a set back to let the big boys have an entry before a nice rise i think. You have got to look how much oil has gone up over the last week its bound to have a little set back

I am no chartist, i purely look back at where this hits a point and backs off. The last rally we had went to 65.76. Just after the big drop last year we bounced around the same point for a week or so. If this can break 65.5 area we will be on to the next chapter in my view. Positive price of oil movement is helping a lot although we are hedged a good percentage, remember we probably would of gone bust if we werent hedged through the crisis. Decided to open a spread bet account last week as i am sick of the bouncing around, thankfully i went long! I wish you all the best with your investments. By the way this is just my opinion ;-)

Im a little confused. If it breaks 66p its going to double in value? Im not negative as i have a lot invested in here but lets be realistic. Currently the fundamentals are the same the makn reason this is rising is the shorts are slowly closing and the oil price has breached $70+. The oil price is the main indicator for this movement. Any positive news will just be a bonus.

I wonder how mr 10/11% felt when the price dropped so low. Do you think he loaned his shares out to cover some loss? I wonder what he is up to now as the price is around where he bought but we have a much stronger plan going forward. We need the refinance sorted asap to give us that big boost

For anybody new on here and have made money in the last few weeks well done. If you intend to sell/buy do not listen to these boards, you can use the facts and rns’s etc which are out there but a percentage of it is luck. People that downgrade the shareprice ‘this is going to the 40’s’ backing their price prediction with no evidence, simply filter them. They are just scaring you. It may drop lower but in a weeks time it could be back up. Its the gamble you take both up or down. I wish you all good luck but please filter out the nonsense ive got fed up of reading it too.
