Breily, there have been a couple of different methods of funding explored by TEK portfolio companies. Placings are one and they come and go. But your worries about Guident needing to purchase satellites is totally unfounded. It's a partnership with an established network company that has all the orbiiting infrastructure in place, ready for deployments and scale up. That's their core business. Software is Gudents party piece. ( shock absorbers aside )

Two interesting aspects, for me:
Regen Shocks being progressed with help from VW and OEMs . Guident will not manufacture the units. They will licence the tech.
Beep biggest (?) AV manufacturer, are in discussion with Guident now.

They'll need to buy some rockets to get up there too
