RE: Geoview15 Apr 2025 17:07
I was actually looking at this yesterday, trying to find out exactly where Juno is and the history.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but it looks like Calum had the licence 2015-2019, found something but wasn't able to take it further. I don't if this was because he was working with GGP, couldn't get funding ... but he knew the size back then.
He then got another licence in 2023 (iirc), did some higher quality scans, probably went out to a load of explorers/miners and said I've found this, help me. So GEO have taken it on, paid Calum £250k for 80% of the licence, but GEO have to pay all costs until they're ready to mine, no costs on Calum.
From what I can see, GEO don't have much of a track record (also accounting for the name change), but hopefully between them all they can get some rigs up and drill. It looks like a hilly area, but they have access via a track so less to worry about there. There's a history of Gold in the area and the scan shows a huge anomoly so something is there. It's also interesting that they went stright ahead and bought all the surrounding licences.
