Anyone owning this should write to Henderson’s and complain about the performance, the numbers over virtually all time frames are atrocious. 5 year numbers show 18% vs 56% for index. It is this dreadful performance that makes investors switch to index funds. Henderson’s should replace Herman asap

Baller stepping down, despite running the company he does not attend investor meetings in London instead sends Tom with his prepared script. Baller is too busy on his many other ventures as nd makes no effort to attract new shareholders. He is very experienced in capital markets so knows what is required but clearly cannot be bothered

Can’t fault today’s numbers but share price will only go up with some proper pr and the person who runs this business is not attending the uk meetings, shame on you Lance !

Lazy reporting! Why nothing on the chemical side, baller knows what the market expects yet allows this poor quality communication to go out. This needs a board room shake up beginning with baller who has been associated with too many misdirections such as the cannabis loan fiasco

Absolutely no attempt to attract new shareholders, contrast 8 or so years ago, baller was regularly in the uk telling the story, yellow sweater did something pr and their broker published some research. All we get now is Toms interview which is lame to say the least. I really hope the big shareholders push for change as this is languishing in the weeds.

This is a great story and stupidly cheap but unfortunately they do zero promotion despite having an investor relations person. They clearly do not understand what attracts buyers to their shares and keeps existing holders on board . Attending events like Mello would be an easy win and also get them a list of investors who would consider Eis investment in their underlying holdings, this should be a no brainer!

Whilst there is little to complain about in the numbers, the woeful share price reflects their inability to promote the company to new investors. A interview on proactive does nothing to attract new investors. Small companies need to go out and tell their story unfortunately baller doesn’t care anymore and is too busy on his many private busineses which old Iofina holders like Jeff ploen clearly find more attractive. A takeover seems the only way that value will be realised hopefully the two large shareholders will pressure the bod .

This looks cheap but didn’t participate in recent placing and is now lower. They do themselves no favours as they do nothing to promote their portfolio despite having their own investor relations chap. I attend events like mello which would be a great place to promote their portfolio as well as their underlying companies which regularly need eis investors. IMO Whilst Neil is excellent at choosing investments he is poor at running the business. An exit or ipo would do wonders for them but this is outside their control.

Capable and excellent but distracted, too busy on his many other ventures. He knows how the market works so communication should be top of their list, in the past the iodine only had to move a dollar and his mate ploen would have been singing the hymn in London. Unfortunately this is just a job now for baller and he is happy to take a salary. A new exec chairman based in London could promote the company and provide strategic direction and not strategic distractions like cannabis !

More positive news on iodine prices coming out of sqm, despite this their so called broker crappacord has prices $10 lower in their numbers. Can’t resist buying more but baller needs replacing with a London based chairman who can attract new investors.

Shameful behaviour by the bod not disclosing a cash bid at circa 180p, clearly protecting their own interests as they own very few shares. Hopefully the institutional holders will force them to engage and extract a higher price.

This has to be my most frustrating holding, they are doing all the right things with the business and there is plenty going on at the underlying companies BUT they do absolutely nothing to attract new shareholders. They did an event 2 years ago but nothing since, there are so many opportunities to tell new investors like Mello. They employ an investor relations chap who seems do do nothing despite having an incredibly exciting story to tell. Sometimes clever people can’t see the wood for the trees seems like this is an example!

This could be a great investment BUT Connie is not upto the role of ceo maybe non exec chairperson and cannacord are the wrong broker. Hopefully octopus will pressure them into some action as they must be hurting!

Even ballers biggest fans must question why he is still chairman and dominating the company. Too busy on his other ventures, too many strategic errors, too many un answered questions , too long in the job ……vote him out!

Another curates egg! More questions than answers, no presentation yet baller states they actively look for new investors., how about keeping the existing on board to start.! This absolutely needs new leadership not the tired same old same old. Iodine remains a very interesting element that could be incorporated in tomorrow’s technology ie batteries. Too cheap to sell.
