yes it would be nice to see around 10p for a divi but that just isn`t going to happen not with 70 plus billion shares in issue Gordon Brown put the good divi days to rest , he was the one who super wrecked Lloyds with all the other rubbish he made Lloyds take over , Lloyds needs to break up big chunks of their assets and either give to shareholder by selling , or get the amount of shares in issue to about 20 billion , or float each chunk and give us all shares in the new floating companies . next years divi will be about 3p tops i just have that feeling .

cookoo , you are 100% correct , letting aren`t the same anymore , the govt don`t like people owning a leetting business other than the super big boys , the average man would have a couple of properties to collect rent and at the end sell and have a pension pot or keep the rent coming in , as for benefit rents you are right the landlord collects off the tennant which as a big mistake but the govt didn`t want private landlords to have benefit tennants and knew it would stop if they changed the payment method , some councils are going direct to the private landlords and they are renting and missing out the govt benefit system ,
