Nonsense, the accounts are basically known to Wood, where did they get 35p from? what is in administration is the publishing of the full review and accounts themselves.

Foggy are you referencing a very recent discussion or the question he asked which was would Scottish Government engage with the Wood Group on finance?

Some want change elsewhere, GMS shareholders have basically requested an EGM, it seems they want changes on the board and dividend payments.

As for the labelled so called trolls, I've filtered them now and it's so much better just to come on and have a quick scan of board, no dig at others but just a pity people are still engaging them as I did on a few occasion I admit, they do what they do because they are jealous self absorbed pathetic individuals, in the real world as in not on a chat board like here, you would do what is necessary wouldn't you to distance and protect yourself and the people you care about from this type of person, get them filtered.

It will never ever sit right with so so many people if Wood goes in to foreign hands like so many UK quality businesses regardless of the valuation when the business can be restructured and put on a better stronger path with the right management at the top.

People need to think on because as it stands the UK is continuing to be milked and ripped off by the wealth abroad, one reason of many why we are no longer seen as substantial in anything, just my opinion.

Robert let it be and forget that piece of 💩 🥕 and forget your £1, 3/5 years from now £3/£5 it could be on home soil on a turnaround, that would be amazing for the long term holders some of who are devastated with their potential losses, and me and you will get our £1 if that does it for us along the way.

Wood to date has 1192 open job opportunities, it is growing and expanding in sectors, it's decline is in certain areas of management within the company and that we are all aware of now. Once all is out it will be the perfect opportunity and time for Wood to continue in the direction of growth without that failing management in tow hanging on to their lovely pay packets for their own sake.

Regardless of their actions, they have no conscience and they are the worst kind, selfish self absorbed individuals and they will never ever see it like that and the majority of those individuals don't make others happy in life.

The possible 35p offer, but as some have pointed out it's in the region of 85p based on as others have pointed out, a smoke screen in Sidara's favour to inject cash, let's hope if the major players don't want to get involved in a turnaround of the company and want out that they push for the 85p to be paid to shareholders.

For the ones that can't think clearly like Doggers69 and continue to feed off ones own bitterness and dish it out, and this is not advice coming from someone educated, successful and outright health conscious but why don't you try drinking more water if you drink any at all and some exercise like walking, cycling, even star jumps might help.

As someone has already pointed out on here, there are other aspects to holding a short other than just what we think is an outright short position, MW may well be holding a long position as well.

I put another 10k in here over the last two days of trading as I took my final view that Sidara's possible offer was based on everything that is basically to be known, it's just not officially out yet. I believe the possible offer that included 'minded' was pre-warning and the timescale now is clear, by end of June all will be clear.

I'm fortunate that any offer in the region mooted being the end result, well it is what it is and it's a profit but more than happy to see Sidara gone and full future value play out with fresh heads at Wood and a thought for the long term holders here too because some of the losses I'm aware of are dreadful and at that point at least the dirt will be in the hoover. Just an idiots opinion of course.

I see Laura couldn't help herself for a second either but there you are people always end up showing their two ugly faces. Not forgetting the one that haven't finished either. All will be good in the end for the new money as Falcon put it but I really hope it's far far better for the real long term holders like the genuine Bob on here.
