The market doesn’t seem to think that the OIP is worth anything, if the CPR says anything like 500mil bbls recoverable or more do we just go straight to £2+ same day ?

Looks like the small punter is selling up and chasing rainbows elsewhere whilst the big buys are rolling in…

Anyone explain the following ?
4 MMs on the ask at 37p only one on the bid but they will take £50k of shares in one go for a dummy sell, normally it would say NT. does this mean a big background buy is happening or are they trying to make traders sell out by thinking the price is away to come down …

The buys don’t look like regular PIs loading up

19k per day as of September. Shares in issue don’t matter is mkt cap

Just been looking at i3e, anyone know why they are only £200mil mkt cap ? I see 130mil proven reserves and 20k bbl per day + production and dividends from a quick look. Hate to say it but they make copl look over priced, anyone explain what I’m missing ? Thanks

so either way it’s a win- either copl picks it up for peanuts and production pops or another player picks up their share and copl gets 5mil cash and can make them pay to increase production and then focus on the new discoveries. Who would really want to bid when you have no control over anything though so it’s more than likely am will steal it

Tedoby, do I understand this correctly that AM has essentially managed to jump to the front of the line ahead of cudas lenders and ensure the 4/5 mil owed to copl is paid before the lenders are ?

Wti is over $93 now and we are red …

So we have two possible outcomes :
1) Art has hit the big time and he knows it - the sp will rocket and he wants to own as many shares as possible (fair enough)
2) Art has lied about things and and wants to exercise his options for a paltry 3/4p gain

I’m much more inclined to go for option 1

Has he ever done this before to this extent ? If he hasn’t this is big news and he must be expecting that shareholders won’t care about his options in time

I’m assuming he’s gifted himself all these options as things are away to get exciting ?

Im sure this will come good, it just doesn’t have the upside potential that it once did as it would appear the mine has been a disaster zone. Disappointing but maybe they wanted to get this out of the way and announce the hedge is clear next week and selling at a much higher spot price etc. I won’t be panic selling as I’ll hold for 65p

Revenue look like it will vastly improve in 2022 thanks to the higher copper price. Delighted I de-risked here and moved most cash into copl. Looks like top end here is now 60-65p basically where we were a year ago

Cut my losses here, doesn’t look like the market cares for dry wells and a few hundred more bbls a day if lucky with massive capex. Put the lot into copl as there is actually massive potential upside there. Good luck

So we stall a bit at +11%, people are looking to get in a few % lower but there can’t be many more sellers at this level so fingers crossed this is the new bottom for copl. Fingers crossed for a 20%+ day later on

Don’t forget that everyone who sold out recently will be wanting back in today/tomorrow off the back of that confirmatory rns

We all know this is majorly undervalued so Art dropping £250k must mean that finally we have the momentum to move much higher towards what the assets are worth. His comments about the discovery mean that the third party cpr will confirm what he said on 10th Jan. Hopefully these purchases and rns comments confirm that good things are coming for copl and soon !
