"the IHT problem is postponed rather than solved".
"HMRC does not provide a list of qualifying companies. Instead, it assesses the company retrospectively: when a claim for relief is made (during the probate process) HMRC will confirm if the companies of which the deceased was a shareholder qualifies for BPR and whether the shares can consequently be passed on free of IHT.
Importantly, to benefit from 100% relief, the company must qualify for BPR at the time of the investment and remain qualifying until the relief is claimed".
But we wee investors want it all now!

@3:45 "investors today . .. they really want it all and they want it now. They want a great investment proposition. Everyone is worried about inflation, people want a yield and a dividend ......."

GGP - just a little more patience, fingers crossed.

"You don’t see them submitting holdings notifications, do you",
Yes they do here is an example but I get the point:

Key Exemptions
Market maker: A market maker holding less than 10% in that capacity is exempt provided that it does not intervene in the management of the company or exert influence over the company. At 10%, the entire holding is disclosable.
Trading book: This is a partial exemption for investment firms/credit institutions holding securities as part of their proprietary business where holdings not exceeding 5% don’t need to be disclosed.
Investment/fund manager: All managers of lawfully managed investments, operators of collective schemes and investment companies with variable capital can disclose at minimum thresholds (5% and 10%) and not lower 3% with incremental 1% that apply for holdings in UK issuers. Above 10% the 1% incremental thresholds apply.
As we have learnt from previous discussions the nominee account holders are the legal owners of the shares and the investors through them are the beneficiaries. The nominee accounts holders appear on the share register and therefore they or their proxy are the ones eligible to take part in voting. My understanding is that these nominee account holders do not usually vote their shareholding unless specifically requested to do so by a beneficiary for their individual holding.
3 equity raises - who was able to subscribe (apart from Beetham)?

So what are we to understand from the Town Hall meeting when Shaun stated that since his appointment IIs holdings had grown from zero to 20% excluding the Index Fund and that a 50% level would be more balanced?
Whilst waiting to see what effect GDXJ buying might have on today's share price for amusement I took a look back at my earliest posts on the GGP board. Have to admit most now make me cringe, sorry about all those ones. However, I would like to share these ones:

From 13 Jun 2018 "Surely today's SP only matters if you are looking to buy or need to sell today. If the latter then you have invested too much and AIM is not the place for you".
I know 'only invest in AIM what you can afford to lose'. But gold does funny things to people!

What if NC delay/mothball Haverion and eye up Paterson instead as the latter appears to be similar and under significantly less cover than Havieron. Whatever, seems that 'pay day' for shareholders seems to move further into the future.

@ RICH3R I had a look at a Fibonacci Extension video, interesting but no thanks as I am not a successful trader. I am happy with my lucky punt on GGP. :-)
Hi Clairabella, it was nice to talk to you at the meeting. Covid three times that not nice. This evening I feel that I am over the worst of the symptoms. I wish you a speedy recovery and a good Christmas. ATB Mremc2
Hi All, thanks for your well wishes.
I am fully 'jabbed' so I was surprised to get Covid because it is the first time I have ever tested positive (since testing began) and P have always tested negative even when others in my own household including my wife and other relatives have had one or more bouts of Covid.
Panama, I hope you are feeling better from your flu.
Bamps, good to hear that you are ok.
Strudel, although my pockets ended up lightweight it was my pleasure. However, I did aggravate my hamstring rushing for the train severely enough also to need a short bus ride home. However, this self isolation period forces me to further rest my leg when otherwise I would be going out partying this week!
Sureasblazes and Tig, I tested negative twice in the weeks leading up to the AGM. Hope you both clear your coughs quickly. As Lennyhan and Speedy point out "It is cold/flu season". Incidentally, I did not get a cough, a cold, flu or covid last winter.
ATB everyone Mremc2
Anyone else fallen ill since the date of the Town Hall meeing? I've got Covid; seems to be mild symptoms. Most likely caught it using public transport travelling on a day before Sunday 11 December when I started coughing. Unfortunately, I did not do a LF test until Tuesday 13th when I lost my sense of smell.
