If only I had learnt about the Lassonde Curve six years ago!! Anyway, exactly how far away are we from production (12 months??) because on the Lassonde Curve the sweet spot for the second wave is about 6 months before production:

First wave bye bye; second wave hello soon perhaps with ASX listing because as everone knows GGP/ Havieron is exceptional.
Notified 20 June 2023
"ANGLO AFRICAN OIL & GAS PLC - Important Information
Removal of Stock
Following the Cancellation of Listing in 2021, we have received notification that the Anglo African Oil and Gas Plc (Anglo) shares are no longer eligible to be held within the UK Settlement System".
"If Newcrest would have taken us out then at around say 40p per share"
I doubt they would have offered anywhere near 40p - in fact I was advised back in December 2021 (check my history) that anything over 30p was pie in the sky unless there was a find like Havieron on another tenement (and we still have not done that yet). Also note that Newcrest were minded to buy the 5% of H really cheaply ie under $25m; until SD conducted a GGP valuation. So I doubt they would have been generous with t/o offer for the whole of GGP.
So that is why I say, at the time, SD saved the company by dealing with a number of legacy issues.
In my view IIs (excl tracker funds and the raise at 8p) have done very little to support GGP. I have attended AGMs in person and all the Town Hall meetings. This is what I have heard about IIs:
1. They are not interested because the share price is too high (AGM)
2. There was 'rotation' at the 14p raise (ie IIs sold shares) (AGM)
3. Very low level of IIs holdings when SD joined (5%?) ; says he got this up to 20% ; looking for 50% (THMs)
4. Share price falling 'you lot selling' so not much II buying as the share price continues to fall.
5, I ask myself why haven't the IIs stepped in the market to support the share price falling below the 8p raise?

"Alex Borelli, Non-Executive Director, has exercised options over 7,500,000 options at 0.7 pence per share and for 25,000,0000 options at 0.2 pence per share for a total consideration of £102,500. He has retained 13,300,000 of the resulting shares, and sold 19,200,000 of the resulting shares to fund the associated exercise costs and tax liabilities. As a result of this transaction, Alex Borelli's shareholding has now increased to 26,403,372 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 0.52% of the total voting rights. Alex Borelli retains 19,000,000 share options in the Company at various strike prices".

So the share price is idling away, only a few small shareholders are dissatisfied about having an updated MRE , no need to get excited about March 2024 the decline's end goal is not ore production, it’s an exploration Decline designed to get into the centre for fan drilling underground and GGP could turn into a multi asset multi billion company but that's years away. I'm fortunate with my shareholding and the start of the second wave of the Lassonde Curve can't come soon enough to GGP. GLA
I'm with Tig, a MRE is an update on exploration and we are well behind in informing the market what resources we have. On message boards we talk about having huge resources 50% more of this ; 20m oz of that etc etc but what information does the market have? By way of illustration lets note what Sprott published:
"Why we like Greatland
• Existing 6.5Moz @ 2.37g/t AuEq Telfer Type/IRGS system
• 2.9Moz @ 3.0g/t AuEq high-grade reserve could lift to 9Moz SCPe on infill and roots
• Reserve increases could support elevated 6-9Mtpa for long-life Tier 1 asset
• Potential SCPe 6Moz caveable material adds optionality above this
• Newcrest existing mill / staff offers production without (plant) build risk
• Ex Northern Star / Fortescue team could use this as springboard for future growth"
How much better would that research note have read with updated MRE figures?
We will never know if a possible 50% increase in resources announced to the original timescale would have supported the share price at a higher level and then all the extra following news increased it further. Could we have avoided further capital raise at such a low share price?
As Tig states routine exploration progress is expected by private investors of junior mining companies especially on AIM.
Where is the excitiment in a falling/ stalling share price? But nevertheless I am holding on for 2024
'Farm in' is that another name for 'Minecraft' (the game my granddaughter plays on my laptop)?
I have been reading the difference between a metaphor and a simile is like the difference between precious metals and gems (both are valuable and useful, but one can take many more forms). Presumably that explains why Havieron is the jewel in the GGP crown.
Lassonde Curve through a series of case studies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heacOu7Wf2M
Worth listening particularly 1:09:57 to 1:18:35 Dan Wilton (First Mining gold) and his 'Valley of death' reference ; can relate that to GGP at the present but there is clearly a path upwards as we have value per ounce, are well backed with great assets in a great jurisdiction. One way or another our gold, copper and other minerals are meaningful to some of the largest mining companies in the world.
I just love these charting forecasts of huge multi bag riches to come in the future for those who believe in the longer term GGP story. 1600 to 4500% increases and so apt when thinking about the second wave of the Lassonde Curve. Enjoy

Yes, let's remember - it's so exciting (from 3 years ago)
"We've found a large mineralised system with the best grades in Paterson," said Gervais, "10 times better than Telfer."
"These kind of strong geological systems come along very rarely, and they just keep giving excellent results, but its very rare to see results like this" said the CEO.
We know it; Newcrest know it and now so do Newmont.

Keep the faith and roll on 2024 and the second wave of the Lassonde Curve.
6.66 it's a beast!
You can hear the thunder
Long before the storm
But you can’t hear the lion when he stalks his prey
He’s moving like a shadow
Creeping up on you
And like a siren’s call he’s gonna have his way
You’d better run, forget your pride
Don’t make a stand, just step aside
If you don’t have what it takes
Don’t try to play you’ll lose your stakes
Remember this at least
It’s the nature of the beast
It’s the nature of the beast
Come on Shaun
At the AGM on 6 December 2022 - share price 7.34p - it was explained that a low share price was a concern and that GGP was still vunerable. The actual ASX listing, if and when it happens, is some way off and now we have seen trades under 6.60p. Is our predicament worse? Holding on for 'exciting times'.
